The staff are wonderful. So polite and helpful. Always a smile. It is our new go to stop in Abergavenny for tea and toast in the morning or tea and scones in the afternoon. Can't wait to come back.

Generally very busy, but that's because the coffee is good and the ambience just right. The cakes are good too.

I've followed this cafe on Facebook for quite a while now. When my husband suggested a day trip to Abergavenny, my first thought was that we could pay a visit to The Coffee Pot 😃
We received a lovely warm welcome from Brian and we ordered coffee's. All the tables were nicely spaced out. There was seating outside too.
We both chose paninis and were pleasantly surprised to find we could choose fries with them. We also chose two of the homemade cakes to share.
Everything on the menu is freshly made on the premises and it was absolutely delicious. Even the chocolate brownie was slightly warm, so tasty, my husband loved the lemon cake.
Great customer service, friendly and nice relaxed atmosphere.
Would highly recommend a visit there, you won't be disappointed.

A lovely little find. Good size coffee shop with ample seating and a vibrant atmosphere. The cakes were amazing and the coffee was very good, there is also a huge selection of food avaliable but we didn't try any of it this time. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.

the food we ordered was amazing, i also got the chocolate frappe and ive never had it before so it i didnt know what to expect. its now set my expectations for when i get chocolate frappes again it was that great.
the staff were so polite and friendly i felt so welcome in there! we also got our orders extremely fast so thank you for fantastic service

Amazing coffee, scones, and service. Tucked away on a little alley, so be sure not to miss them. Scones with clotted cream, yum! The owner takes real pride in this coffee shop, so special. Visiting from Utah, USA

Had a lovely Cappuccino, my dad even tried one. Friendly staff, prompt service and ample seating. First time visit. If I am in Abergavenny again then I will try and pop in.

Went in today for some lunch and had a lovely treat with the Easter egg hot chocolate, the people were lovely. I'd highly recommend a visit and the cakes are homemade.

A cafe/restaurant with character, located in a listed building with a story, that provides good food at reasonable prices. The helpings were generous as well as fresh and tasty. Served up by friendly and helpful staff. What's not to like?

I have a very restricted diet at present, and they were happy to sort food I was safe to eat, which was also very tasty. Always a friendly service and relaxed atmosphere.
