Cosy little cafe with amazing cakes. Toffee sponge cake was delicious! Perfect spot to end a long hike. I also managed to forget my hat there and the owner was kind enough to post it back. Definitely recommend 👌🏼

Lovely cafe in the town centre, friendly staff, delicious food we had lasagne which was excellent, tasty salad and garlic bread. Generous pot of tea for two. Cakes looked delicious too.
Good value, cash only.

Lovely sitting out in a pod in the sunshine. Great coffee & fab cakes. Would recommend the lemon Victoria sponge even though it says Gluten free it was so moist & very delicious. So was the Chocolate orange cake.

What a fantastic find! This a a lovely cafe with friendly staff, natural decor and great food. There is a great atmosphere of chatty people.
We ordered a regular tea and large cappuccino, both good temperature and arrived in an expected time.
There is no card machine so pay with cash. There is a cash point a few metres down the cafe.
For food, we had chilli con carne that was well seasoned and had a good kick. The eggs Benedict has a runny middle and the right about of hollandaise sauce, not too much that will over power the taste! Yum yum!
Definitely willl be back to try their homemade cakes and other menu items!

Excellent cafe.
Good friendly and welcoming atmosphere even on a busy Saturday.
Had the Welsh breakfast (no different to the English btw). Will definitely go again.

What a find! A gorgeous cafe with the friendliest staff, most delicious food, great coffee and the cakes looked amazing! Nearly every person that came in was known to the staff, I always think repeat locals is a great sign. The pancakes were excellent.

Fabulous cafe in Abergavenny. Delicious food and lovely staff. Really good value too. Would thoroughly recommend a visit. The cafe is nicely furnished and has cute outside seating pods which are ideal for customers with dogs. We sat inside and enjoyed some delicious filled jacket potatoes with side salad and a very generous sized pot of tea for two.

Best breakfast in Abergavenny. And I'm pretty sure I've tried them all. Excellent coffee too, and lovely cakes. I'm not sure it's worth going anywhere else! Just make sure you have cash.

We love visiting here for lunch with the dogs. Super dog friendly, we love to sit outside in one of the huts - added bonus of heaters too. The food is great and also the coffee!

Prompt, friendly service and excellent food. Father in law said best breakfast he’s ever had!
Look forward to visiting again - hoping to fit in some of the homemade cake. Recommend the breakfast , the Chilli and the BBC panini.

In this lovely café you can sit in little booths outside and enjoy the sun and high street of Abergavenny ,drinking tea from a big pot and eating delicious snacks. Or the full Welsh breakfast if you're very hungry.

Stopped here for breakfast before some last minute Christmas shopping. The breakfast was lovely and well presented. We also had 2 slices of cake to take away. The slices of cake here are HUGE and really tasty. The cafe is cash only so remember to visit a cash point first.

What a fabulous find! And two visits on a cold damp November day is surely a testimony to how good this cosy little Cwtch Cafe is!

Upon entering, we were instantly offered a warm Welsh welcome.
And no matter the weather, we got the impression there would always be a warm Welsh welcome!
The menu was cracking, with good, honest food lovingly prepared and presented.
All-day breakfast - perfectly poached eggs with my daughters eggs Benedict
Coronation chicken baguette - very tasty
Cheese and beans baked potato - excellent size portion
A super sausage sandwich that pleased my four year old granddaughter! And what definitely tipped the scales in her favour was a freshly made delicious raspberry milkshake with cream on top for my granddaughter! 👍🏻
The cakes - oh the cakes! Such a varid and fantastic selection, very popular too.
We made a return visit a few hours later as my daughter needed to feed her baby. A good ole pot of tea to warm us up along with a massive Chelsea bun for my granddaughter - best cake ever she said!
Yet again, it was a wonderful friendly welcome even offering extra cushions for my daughter to feed the baby.

Prices were very reasonable, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere definitely felt as if you had a lovely Cwtch 🫂

I would highly recommend this cosy cafe, and we'll be back! Diolch yn fawr

Delighted to see the Cwtch Cafe trading this side of lockdown, not been for 12 months. My wife has coeliac disease and this lovely little place has a fantastic choice of savory and sweet choices to cater for her dietary needs. Today we had an oven baked potato, with side salad deliciously presented, followed by a scrumptious piece of home baked cake and coffee, I'm not glutten intolerant myself but the g/f cakes looked so inviting, I opted for a slice of raspberry truffle and my wife had a portion of lime and blueberry, both baked on the premises by Jo the proprietor.

A lovely place with incredibly nice service and good food. The vegetarian Welsh breakfast was delicious, and staff were so helpful and patient answering our many questions.
