I had an amazing experience. Thanks to my colleagues for taking me here for my leaving lunch. The food is so good and tasty. The service was also fine. Don't forget to reserve a table before you visit the place because the coffee shop can get very crowded during lunchtime and all the seats were occupied when we visited the coffee shop.

Visited this place early Saturday afternoon, the place was very busy. Staff were very patient and helpful. The atmosphere in the place was nice. We only had soup and a sandwich with a drink, plenty of choice of fillings for the sandwiches which arrived with a good amount of filling between the fresh slices of bread. The lentil and spinach soup was thick and filling. The next visit will be for a high tea which must be booked in advance as we witnessed these delightful towers of goodies being delivered to tables throughout our visit. Would recommend.

A great place for lunch in Arbroath. Warm, quiet and hospitable - plenty of space between tables and chairs. Food good and plentiful for the price.

The staff here are always very friendly and helpful. Service is quick and the food and drinks are always lovely. There is a selection of cakes changed daily and they are always adding new products. There is also a small shop selling things such as sweets and art, and there are toys for children to play with.

Been in quite a few times for lunch. Always lovely soups to choose from the specials board, enjoy the soup and sandwich combo option. Great cakes too, if you still have room.
My only complaint is the smell from the toilets. The toilets appear clean but the smell is disgusting.

Only came in for coffee as it was raining. Nice smiddy loaf and coffee. Attractive venue tucked away down alley. Handy for theatre. Came back a,second time for lunch. Ceasars salad was the best I've ever had and at a bargain price. Will be back for more.

Delicious double espresso! Great variety of cake slices. Cocktails, beer and wine, too! I can see why the place is so popular.

This is a great place to have a light lunch with a nice choice of sandwiches, toasties, paninis etc. You can, of course, start with a warming bowl of homemade soup. There is a wide selection of delicious cakes and tray bakes which can be taken out. Good choice of drinks are also available. Lovely atmosphere for meeting up with friends. All reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a car park behind the cafe and it's entrance and downstairs seating area is easily accessible for disabled people. Toilets are just inside the foyer. There is an upstairs too which can cater for larger parties. All in all a great place to eat.

Everything is done right; great service, good selection of excellent food, spotless facilities. A real hidden gem. The staff are polite and attentive, the cakes are worth every extra calorie you need to burn off on the gym. I can't recommend this place enough. If you're in arbroath, make sure you pay a visit, you'll not be disappointed.
