Oct 2023 update: I collected my custom Meyrick acoustic guitar from Richard about a year ago and have to say it is excellent. We discussed the guitar at length, he sent me photos of his progress and allowed me to visit him at his workshop on several occasions including to choose the woods. The build quality, finish and attention to detail is superb. The guitar is very resonant and projects really well. I have no doubts in recommending Richard’s instruments.

A beautiful workshop and Richard was the loveliest and most helpful. Made my day and made me smile ear to ear! Can’t wait to come back one day soon, you have saved the day!

i came to richard with my beloved martin acoustic guitar, it had sustained serious body damage in more places than one and i wasn't too sure if it could be completely repaired. a few days later i came back and picked it up, every issue was fixed and the guitar was like new ! i don't really know how he did it and then he charged me way below what i was expecting. needless to say he is now my go-to for acoustic guitar repair work and i highly recommend him to anyone with a guitar in need.

Had Richard finish my tele body in vintage sunburst,and it looks incredible !
It makes me grin everytime i see it.
I presented Richard with an explanation of what i wanted, accompanied with detailed photographs of the sunburst i liked.
I was genuinely gobsmacked when i saw it,so much so,he's currently spraying up my double cutaway in dark cherry sunburst.
Cant wait to get that one back,hint,hint !

I recently took my Schecter Hellraiser Special to Richard, as I wanted it set up to play in A standard rather than E. Richard was helpful and very knowledgeable, and a week later I had my guitar back, complete with new strings and already tuned to A for me. Will only be bringing guitars here from now on, over the moon is an understatement! Cheers rich!

Took my Washburn solar to Richard because I wanted the radius taken out of my fretboard to make it flat and I must say I am blown away with the finished product, the guitar is genuinely out of this world its a major upgrade in feel and its all thanks to Richard meyrick, I honestly couldn't be more satisfied with the product and service that I received.
