Nigel Richards Driving School

I had Nick as a driving instructor and he was fantastic, I passed my test with flying colours. The resources they use to explain different situations are really helpful as seeing it visually and having the ability to ask questions rather than just dealing with it in time sensitive situations helps you understand it. He was always on time to any lessons, it was easy to book alternative slots if I needed them but he always kept my slot consistent when it worked for me. He's very polite and easy to talk to. Perfect combination of encouraging you and making you take responsibility which you need to drive. Lessons are planned around any faults meaning they are the most effective for you. Could not recommend more.

Paul stepped in when our previous instructor let us down and managed to fit us in really quickly. Paul is reliable and answers all queries promptly.
My son really enjoyed his lessons and passed his test easily.

Can not recommend Adam Healy at Nigel Richards Driving School enough! Friendly and approachable, my daughter is shy and he managed to get her chatty. Was always on time, highly reliable and managed to get my daughter to pass first time in just 6months. One happy young lady, will definitely be using your services again for our son when it's his turn. Thank you again for the excellent service!

After starting lessons with another driving school & not progressing, we moved our son to learn with Eric Ellard at Nigel Richards Driving School at the start of the year and that was the best decision we made!

He really enjoyed his lessons with Eric and his confidence improved massively very quickly and he passed his test today with only 4 minors.

I'd highly recommend Eric to any learner drivers, especially those who may be a bit anxious.

Gillian was the best driving instructor, calm, patient and actually taught me. I hear everyone complaining about instructors because they just huff and expect you to be a professional driver the first time you sit in the seat but gillian understands that you may have never been in a car and teaches you everything in the most understandable way and fills you with confidence in your driving capability. No chance i would have passed if it was anyone else teaching me to drive. 10/10 definitely getting recommended to friends and family

Could not have been more helpful and sent Gillian’s details over for weekly lessons. Gillian was fantastic with my son and he always came back from his lessons happy and upbeat and excited to pass his test. Gillian made room for Ollie around both working and college and he had a real range of lessons including night driving and different times of the day. Ollie passed on his second try. I would like to thank Gillian and the team. I will be back with my daughter later on in the year.

I passed today first time thanks to Nigel Richards Driving School. My instructor Paul Johns helped me all the way through my learning journey, he has been amazing from start to finish. Always flexible with dates and times of lessons and so thorough ensuring I knew everything! Paul was always patient with me and made me feel comfortable and safe. Easily worth of a 5* review!! My instructor Dave Johnson put a huge effort into me and helping me pass. I failed my first test due to a manoeuvre and nerves but Dave went over these with me and really pushed me to help me pass and I wouldn’t have been as determined as I am without Dave. Amazing instructor and thank you very much!

Nick was a great instructor, always showing me new ways to improve my driving. He taught me lots of different little tricks when it comes to driving which helped me out a lot. I was always given the space to make the mistakes I made so that I could improve on these mistakes to become a better driver. Overall a great instructor and nice chap.

Can not recommend Adam enough!! I’ve been through so many driving instructions and have never felt so comfortable and confident whilst learning with him, has the patients of a saint and fantastic teacher.

Very good experience with Jamie from nigel richards learned a lot with him and he taught me everything i needed to know in order to have the best chance of passing. if i had questions he was more than happy to answer which made it a lot easier to be able to learn and get the pass which i have been able to achieve.

Paul has been amazing through my driving lesson journey! Having left having lessons until I was 26 I was very nervous, however Paul always made me feel comfortable and safe. Managed to learn to drive in just over a year, and passed first time! Thank you so much Paul ☺

I would give it 6 stars if I could.
I had previously been with 3 other instructors, who wasn’t greatest.
But after finding Jamie Pritchard, such amazing instructor. From day 1 of meeting him, so welcoming, calm and patient all the way through. Way he explains everything, not a thing he won’t do make sure understand and take it in. Cant thank him enough.
Would recommend to anyone and only person I would recommend.
