How can you not viait a pub with greyhound in its name when you have 3 whippets.
Fabulous pub food was amazing i had bancock big boy burger it was really tasty and my husband hadthe lamb pie which he said was delicious. But best of all our 3 whippets were welcomed. In fact Milo made himself comfy in the arm chair. Will definitely visit again.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. Two meals for £16 so good value. Food was hot and good quality. Its a nice "old" pub with a cosy feel. Staff were really nice and friendly. It was busy but it was Mother's day so that was to be expected. Would go back if in the area again.

Very pleasant indeed. Watched rugby with all the family and had a great afternoon. The lady behind the bar was brilliant and Rosie the dog was a very friendly good addition to the pub. Great experience

Food great, bar staff very friendly, homely pub, the kids made very welcome. First time we'd been inside although we'd used their takeout collection service during lockdown which was also very good. Recommended.

Lovely pub found on our travels after walking round Whitchurch, greeted by rob who was very friendly and also from.cheshire like myself. Friendly atmosphere, lovely staff, ordered food had a couple of drinks whilst keeping out of the rain. Food was lovely, cooked as asked slightly toasted perfectly.. Will definitely return. Thanks again for being so welcoming.

Just had a really delicious meal...
Cheesy chips were absolutely lush as were the squash and sweet potato bangers!!!
Boyfriend had scampi and chips which was also delicious!!!
We'll definitely be going back again and thoroughly recommend it to everyone!!!

This pub has ha a complete revamp since I used to come here in the 90s. The bar/lounge dividing wall has totally vanished and someone has made a nice job of screwing old doors to a large section of the ceiling. Overall it's been tastefully modernised. It's a busy pub and we usually start the evening here, there's a young crowd in until around 9:30 when the oldies start to arrive and the youths move on elsewhere. I like it here there's loads of different beers and the staff are friendly. Give it a go.

Spot on service. They get and understand social distancing guidelines perfectly and more importantly the beer and food is exceptional. I recommend the chicken platter.
