Rye Bay Ebikes

Great Ebike experience to ride around Rye nature reserve. Customer service excellent. Dean was so kind that he gave us a lift to Rye town after we finished our ebike day just when it started raining.

Martin at Rye bay bikes is an unbelievable guy!! Great store and helped me out with an issue on my bike. Best bike shop on the south coast for sure.

Saved my day. Bank holiday and I travelled to Rye and managed to get a puncture on the train. The whole team worked to get my wheel mended and to get my front brakes working. At the same time they helped a lady who came in with 2 infants and a buggy with a puncture and managed the flow of customers coming into pick up ebikes for the day.
As if that was not enough I got great advice on routes to take and was able to catch up with the others and enjoy a magnificent day.
Incredibly friendly place. It was a pleasure to meet the team.

Fantastic well kept and powerful 2 seater EBike for my wife and me. Had a very memorable experience cycling in the rain, warming up with a hot choccie in the cafe en route. Martin got us some ponchos and even took us back in his car into Rye centre with a mini tour guide thrown in. Couldn’t recommend this bike shop enough! Thanks Martin!

I honestly couldn’t be happier with the level of service, communication, choice and all round experience with this company. They are very accommodating and dealt with my order promptly and went the extra mile to ensure this whole transaction went smoothly. So happy with my bike, the condition and the fact that they meticulously checked and serviced the bike to ensure it was safe. I was left with no questions about my bike as the covered everything I asked and needed to know. Highly recommended. Plus you get the added bonus of being able to ride from rye harbour into rye if you choose to collect. If not I’m sure they are happy to deliver. I had a puncture the other side of Rye so contacted Rye Bay e bikes. Super helpful guy came to collect my bike in his van and also my friends, so that we could go into Rye for a coffee whilst he repaired my bike. He charged a very fair price and I wouldn't hesitate to go again for a bike service etc. Seemed to have good selection of e bikes and you can try out. Highly recommend.

We rented two bikes with kids seats and helmets, I would definitely recommend the experience. Martin was very helpful, got us everything we needed and gave us plenty of tips on where to go. The Rye Harbour Nature Reserve is a beautiful place to go and very bike friendly.

We had a great day out on the bikes. Martin picked us up from our accommodation in Rye and took us to the shop (although it’s a easy walk from Rye).
We were given a briefing about the bikes and informed about different routes we could take. All very useful and we felt like we got the most out of our day.
It was as our first time out on E-bikes and they are a great way of getting around without breaking much of a sweat. Also would make a great day out for a group of riders with mixed biking experience as the Ebike does all the hard work. The bikes are good quality and lasted the whole day riding without running out of charge. We did 28 miles.
Will do again and recommend to friends.

Needed a new bell and to pump my tyres. Phoned ahead because I'd popped into another bike hire shop at the harbour who couldn't help. Martin was very friendly on the phone and the service I received was excellent. Gave me tips on cycle routes around the area and marked them on a map for me. Pumped my tyres and one of his staff changed my bell for me. Totally recommend this shop. The area is great for cycling round so hire your bike from here!
