Herne Bay Clock Tower

Here for the Carnival. Park. Pier. Shops. Arcades. Gardens. Traditional landmark on Traditional beach front that caters for all. It might not be sandy but it is worth a visit.

Beautiful beach. We love coming here in the summer. Few nice shops around but the beach is mainly where we stay. Moon jellyfish are often around too.. kids love watching them. Don't worry they don't sting humans! Very clean and well kept area

Lovely spot to just relax and eat some chips, doughnuts and ice cream!!!

I also love the fact they’ve got lots of benches and a small children’s play area which is great for the elderly as well as parents so they can keep an eye on their kids! Car park is walking distance too which is fab!

I was meeting a walking group we walked 45 minutes towards reculver then 45 minutes back towards clock tower but want for a coffee in a bakery and set up stairs the bakery is opposite nationwide

Lovely place to take the kids as there is a park next to it. My number obsessed child likes seeing the clock.

Lovely monument right in the centre of the promenade, very impressive and it looks beautiful at night when it's all lit up.

The well maintained Grade II Listed clock tower circa 1837 also serves as a Boer War memorial.
A fanciful and disproportionate Grecian Temple clad in weather-beaten Portland Stone the dominant presence and landmark on the beachfront.
This very much the precursor of elaborate and quirky seafront promenade clock towers, a Victorian and Edwardian infatuation, vogue and trope.

Good land mark! We started our 6.5 km walk to Whitstable from here.

Lovely and clean area. No litter at all. Wonderful alternative to the more expensive seaside areas. Prices here are very reasonable. And some fantastic views

Love herne bays clock tower! Its a great piece of scenery and its lovely to sit it lit up for various occasions. Really pretty and perfect for photos !

It's a clock tower, there's nothing to really see but it looks alright and serves as a good landmark when you agree to meet someone.

The clock tower is clean and well maintained and remains an iconic monument in Herne Bay. Thank you local council.

We use tocome here as kids in the 1960's so many happy memories on this clean beach.
