Beaconsfield Services - Extra - M40 J2

What a fantastic discovery! This is probably one of the best service stations I've visited. Great location and a wide selection of different restaurants to eat in. There is a nice lake which is great in good weather. Who doesn't want to sit outside with a picnic watching the Red Kites swooping? I now even use this place to meet up with work colleagues when I don't fancy going into London. Highly recommended.

Although we were having a bloody awful journey most drivers were behaving we were on our way home after a fabulous Christmas with our family we left much later than we usually did and this was a reminder why we like to leave early morning. The journey usually 2.1/2hours became 7 hour crawl. We needed a toilet break so stopped at Beaconsfield and it took a good half an hour to get into the car park. If I say we're both in out 70s you'll understand it was now pretty desperate. We finally made it and joy of joys plenty of clean toilets available, phew what a relief (in more ways than one). We had drinks and a bite all the staff were love and most helpful. I thought it was a very well run business and we will be happy to stop at Beaconsfield again.

Pretty busy chargers, but reliable and charge fast.
Some drivers block it after their car is charged to 100%, so I think there should be a hefty penalty if the car is charged, but remains plugged for the prolonged period of time. Of course more chargers would be welcome, hopefully they'll add some in the future.

Decent place to get food while on a long trip. Good choices for quick pickups and even to sit and relax and have food.

What a place, not only does this place hit the jackpot with a macdonalds and a kfc it also has a weatherspoons!

Had a fantastic breakfast, then on my return trip lunch all thanks to Ronald McDonald. Will be returning in due course for kfc bucket for one in the near future for sure ❤

We have travelled around the UK on road trips with our children practically every weekend ever since they were little, they are teenagers now, and Motorway services were a huge part of the journey, needing to stop for the bathroom, and something to eat.

So when I say that Beaconsfield is the best Motorway services that l have ever seen, this is backed with over 17 years of visiting motorway services practically every weekend.

It looks like a high end shopping mall. It has a wide variety of food outlets to cater for every taste and pocket.

The toilets are clean which when you have children and a high volume of people going in and out of a place is of great importance.

We visited on a Sunday, and there were long queues at Greg's but other places did have as many people waiting to be served, so bear that in mind.

All in all, it is a great place to visit, even as a destination in in itself if you don't live too far away and want to have a bite to eat.

There were signs for a dog park, if you are travelling with a pet, and some other nice walks we're signposted as well, l did take a pic of the signs post.

We were pressed for time so didn't explore the outside places, but maybe we will actually go there one weekend when we have nothing on. The kids said the would like to do that.

Wow wow wow where do I even begin. This place is amazing, I don’t even come here for fuel, it’s literally just got everything you need. The Wetherspoons is very good and also a cheap spoons. The Nandos staff here are one of the friendliest I’ve ever met and the McDonald’s is pretty quick. If you have a blue light card you can get 20% off the Starbucks with the welcome break discount also. I cannot recommend this place enough, they also have an M&S, greggs, KFC, Indian, chozen noodle and so much more. Have been coming here for a solid 2 years now and no plans to stop. The quality of food here in all food outlets is also exceptionally high. They also have a hotel. The only thing I’d say is the fuel is very expensive here but they have a lot of pumps!

Very good place for a nice dinner! They have a nandos, WHSmith, McDonald's KFC, and more great choices to choose from, and a place to refill the car (and yourself if your hungry!)

Very good motorway services. Plenty of disabled parking and easy access. Plenty of food options so there is something for everyone. Toilet facilities were clean and there was a lot of free seating

After a long drive and needing a break. Beaconsfield Services was supreme. Good array of shops and eateries. Toilet facilities spotless.
Great staff and considering services are renowned for being over priced, pricing here was very competitive.

Surprisingly good food hall. We stopped for take away Nandos that was delicious albeit a little pricey. Recommended.

This is the best motorway services I've ever been to! Even better than south mimms...

It has a lovely glass fronted building and inside is a treasure trove of places to drink, eat and relax. Leon, Nandos, various asian places, cornwall pasty co, starbucks, curry house, and a couple of other food places

The big attraction was the wetherspoons pub which backed out onto a patio with tables and a lake with abgrassy meadow behind it. lots of ducks and a lovely place to be!

This is the Rolls Royce of motorway service stations..... All earthly delights can be found at this location... No matter the takeaway fast food preferences of your group there is something for everyone... Its even got a Whetherspoons!

The tia food place is excellent.

This is a good service station with a nice variety of eating options. There's even a Wetherspoons, if that takes your fancy.
When I've stopped here, service has been quick, and it's clean.
I usually go for a nice Cornish pasty, but there are plenty of other options, more so than most service stations that I've visited.
