Knights Garden Centre - Nags Hall

Responsive in store and responsive on the phone...helpful staff and good varied collection of plants at my doorstep.

I wish I did not have to drive occasionally to the Betchworth store as well because as they have a more interesting collection of larger shrubs and trees.

The Sunday lunch is lovely and the young curly haired waiter (I think his name was David) was fantastic and very professional.

A wide range of good quality garden furniture to choose from here, just purchased a full set for our new patio, happy with the service and free delivery. Fresh food cooked to order if you wish to have lunch. Comfortable seating and excellent service by decent caring staff. Not a huge selection of plants if you are green fingered like us. Their Betchworth centre is more of a gardeners garden centre as well as their other 2 centres, absolutely best one for food though.

We had some toasties and cake and was all delicious and so nice that the cafe area is dog friendly. Staff extremely friendly, we had a wonderful lunch will be returning for sure!

My wife and I bought some very expensive garden furniture from Knights and when we received it, three parts were manufactured incorrectly (the support legs were too long).

This was not Knights fault and they could easily have referred us to the manufacturer to resolve. Instead, Kieran and Pete went out of their way to resolve the issue, coming to the property twice to take a look and see how they could fix it. Fortunately, they found parts that were correct and came back and put the furniture together for us.

Kieran and Pete went above and beyond and this review is as much a 'thank you' as it is a recommendation for a great local business.

Favourite garden centre. Really helpful, informative staff in the plant section. Honest. If they don’t know something, they tell you, and find someone who does. Nothing seems too much trouble for them.
Also rate the restaurant staff very highly. Went as the cafe was closing, but the manager stopped what he was doing to serve me, with a smile, and was really helpful. Great food, and Americana coffee. Have been lots of times, as always feel valued as a customer. End up spending far more than intended, as the choice, and quality of plants is very high

We had a nice sandwich lunch on a Saturday
Pleasant surroundings and not a long wait as was pretty quiet.
Then browsed a good selection of annual and perennial plants. All good specimens and properly cared . Will return for further purchases.

Beautiful items for sale, friendly staff, well cared for plants and yummy cafe food. Only issue being the animals/pets section seems a lot smaller and with less variety of dog and cat etc options. More based in chickens horses and other livestock. Cute fish area with great colour scheme so very immersive. Lovely place to visit with overflow parking and wide range of spaces for any type of car

Very nice, spacious store with a large variety of items at a decent price. The restaurant serves a tasty breakfast and great coffee. Staff are all very polite and helpful, and if they don't have the answers you need will let you know how to get them. I don't know how we've not managed to visit Knight's so far, instead going further afield to another garden centre for the last few years, but this visit has convinced us to come here in the future.

I travel up from deepest Dorset, to the Orpington area. We always take a break here, this time had eggs benedictine, very nice, then we have a stroll around the garden centre, it seems to change everytime, we have bought garden items here, in the past. The staff are always helpful and cheerful

Fantastic service from Mark when buying a bbq yesterday. The guys also delivered the next day and had to dismantle to get through the front door. Really couldn’t do enough for me. Rarely do you get service like this these days, thank you!!

Great amount of parking, huge variety of products, very friendly staff and a lovely restaurant

Had a lovely turkey lunch nicely cook and presented, helpful staff.
They have a one way system for entering and leaving. The table where cleaned after you left.
They had lovely Christmas displays of items to buy I got a lovely scarf and shopping bag. Enjoyed my visit would go again

The plants always look in great condition and are well priced. The cafe and restaurant are both lovely. The menu in the Walled Garden is really good both in quality and value. A nice place to take friends for lunch.

The garden centre has a good healthy stock of plants. But my favourite part is the restaurant! Last time we enjoyed quiche and salad, but this time we had the best ploughman's. Fresh and varied produce, very enjoyable.

Visited today. Lots of folks in masks, I'm exempt but didn't once have the slightest trouble from any if the staff. Indeed all very helpful with a shout out to the young lad on the tills and the lady putting out veg. seedlings.

Very good range of tools, seeds and in season seedlings. Outside stone, stepping stones and pots were well displayed. Nice range of shrubbery and the ornamental trees looked in good condition.

Last but not least we also paid a visit to the pet supplies... superb and again great service.

Would have liked a little more choice inthe cafe but whilst the gvt is still busy shutting businesses down to cope with a pandemic that ended over a year ago we should be grateful they were able to offer anything. We snacked in a lovely airy but sheltered outdoor eating area and reflected on a couple of hours well spent.

Must be a 5* review as be bought a fire pit/chiminea, after months of looking at various ones in different garden centres
