Manor Farm Barn

Located a short drive from the A2, this is halfway between our home and that of our friends, so an ideal meeting place. We requested a table with flat access for a disabled person and they noted our request. The table was perfect and we enjoyed a delicious meal.
The menu is quite small but we all found something we liked. Friendly and efficient service

Amazing place to stay (kids and dogs welcome - well behaved ones 😅) the design of the interior makes you stay and eat more (and also read a good book but that’s just me haha) There are spaces to stay outside when there is such a nice sunny day as today. The staff is very nice and helpful. There is a decent size parking available.

If you’re in the fence about this place - go! The environment was so cool and beautiful for Christmas. The food was delicious and the staff was very accommodating. 10 stars!

Came here with a few friends for Sunday lunch yesterday. The service was outstanding from start to finish. In terms of COVID, everything from the walk into the restaurant was very clear and easy to understand. There was a one way system around the restaurant (one entrance/one exit), hand sanitiser and screens between tables. Staff were seen to be hand sanitising regularly as well.

The team were very polite and friendly and put us at our ease. Ordering was very straightforward. The food took a while to come out, but the restaurant was at pretty much full capacity so this was to be expected - plus the service of drinks, etc was quick whilst we were waiting.

The food itself was fantastic - far better than you would expect from a ‘gastropub’. Portions were huge, and everything was incredibly tasty. Side dishes of veg and cauliflower cheese were included as well.

The bread and butter pudding was quite small, but tasty; after a large lunch this was actually a good size. Possibly a little overpriced at around £6 though? However, the biscoff slice was exceptional (and a far larger portion) for roughly the same cost. Definitely one to try!

Overall, for a cost of £23 per person (with a couple of drinks each) we were very, very happy. We will definitely be back!

This small family owned farm is awesome to visit with family. There is a restaurant on the premises but it was closed. The shop selling farm produce was well stocked and fairly priced. There is ample free parking. The a small pond opposite the farm enterance with lots of ducks. A must visit during summers.

Excellent selection of beer and ales. Food is amazing and service top notch too.

Hannah, Ellie and all the team were absolutely brilliant, we didn’t have to worry about a thing on our wedding day, they made our wedding look magical. Had lots of lovely comments from our wedding party. Food perfect and nothing was too much trouble, all went above and beyond! Thank you so much, a team to be proud of !!!

We had my dad’s wake here last week. The deputy manager Richard and his team were wonderful. They reserved the downstairs area as quite a few older people. Open area, food delicious and staff so friendly and helpful they were obviously keen to ensure it all went as well as it did. So supportive too. The bar staff were incredible constantly keeping us informed on the tab. Also had area reserved for husband’s 50th last December. They were excellent then too. Would not hesitate to use this venue again. Would be my first choice for sure. Thank you Richard and your amazing team.

We went to a wake, the servers were very attentive.
I have food allergies, gluten free, so I had to order my food at the bar, the server took me to the menu and gave me my options, I had halloumi salad, it was so delicious, the presentation was great too.

Came here today 9th May 23, 5 ladies who love to lunch. We had a great afternoon stag we friendly & helpful food was a good variety & no the run of the mill pub grub. We all had different plates and we all over it. Thanks and see you again ❤

I was a guest at my sister's wedding, so I can't tell you how much it costs but it was a lovely place to have a meal, I would definitely recommend it without a doubt.

Popular restaurant for a reason! Well worth the drive out there. Farm shop has interesting sauces and other foodstuffs for a price, but quality does cost and we always get something to enjoy.

We came with 19 guests after our wedding. Everyone's food arrived together, hot and delicious. All the arrangements were smooth and I felt confident the day would run to plan. I was able to come in the night before, see the table being arranged and sort my table plan. One less thing to panic about. Every member of staff was friendly, helpful and couldn't have done more. Thank you to all involved.
