Knights Garden Centre - Chelsham

Went for Christmas decorations and wasn't disappointed! I have never seen so many baubles in all my 48 years! Helpful staff, easy parking and spaces are extremely generous!

Haven't visited here for years so it was good to have a return visit. Had a drink in the cafe and browsed in the shop, will look at plants more next time.

Lovely garden centre, well stocked from plants to accessories. Fantastic coffee shop. We particularly like the pet shop, which is very reasonably priced. Staff are fantastic, very knowledgeable, and helpful.

This is our favourite of the Knights Garden Centres. I bring MIL here once a month and we always have lunch in the cafe. The sandwiches are always freshly made and tasty. I will note that you used to get a small salad and handful of crisps with the sandwiches, the crisps disappeared a while ago and the salad this week was a small piece of lettuce. They are little things but they made a difference.
I do like the new seating set up, find your table then order food at the counter. This seems to reduce the queues but maybe I've just been lucky. The service is faultless! The staff in the cafe are lovely, they are so helpful and cheerful.
The garden centre itself is lovely. The plants are good quality and nicely labelled and displayed. It's easily accessible. I always find something unusual there.

Quick visit for pet products. We took our puppy with us. As soon as we entered the pet section we were greeted with a friendly smile and the dog offered a doggy treat. The lady was very friendly and helpful.

Had a latte and scampi and chips for lunch.. Piping hot and very tasty.. Definitely going back for more..,

We would like to congratulate the organisers, especially the catering team, for providing a very enjoyable time at yesterday’s COCKNEY SING-A-LONG. It brought back memories of my late father who fought in WW1 and who entertained us with these songs. In today’s troubled World the concert provided a welcome escape if only for a couple of hours. Looking forward to the next occasion.

Another fabulously warm summers day this garden centre covers one side of hidden Valley and it's such a lovely place to wander around and look at what a modern garden centre should do. Not only plants and trees but paving and buildings and interior fittings together with a delightful and exquisite café beside the old house.

Had a lovely roast beef dinner with hubby in the seasons restaurant today, it was beautifully cooked, the beef was tender and flavoursome, served with a gravy filled Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and boiled cabbage, there was also a portion of horseradish sauce on the plate everything tasted fresh and just cooked, the portion size was also generous. We also had a pot of tea for two, which was made with good quality tea and was very enjoyable. At a cost of £14.95 each for the roast and £2 each for the tea I feel it was good value. The staff were all polite and friendly and the dining area was spacious and easy to navigate my wheelchair round, there is ample parking at the front of the garden centre with roomy disabled spaces, they also have a disabled toilet and regular toilets next to the dining room, we will definitely go back again for a Sunday roast.

Had good customer service yesterday so walked with a tall Magnolia Daphne, an elegant Amelanchier Paloma, and a somewhat squat Edgeworthia Chrysantha...well didn't quite walk away with these.. the former two being over 2m tall and the latter 1m wide.

Photos will have to wait until home delivery but Google should help you learn more about these not so common but interesting trees.

Went to the cafe with some friends. We managed to get a good size table in the corner with space for all our prams (6 in total). We all got coffees, cakes and sandwiches from the cafe. The food was all good and well made, a little bit more than I would’ve liked to pay personally for a egg mayo sandwich (£5) but it was nice. The coffee was good and again the cake was slightly overpriced for the size (almost £3). I would go back again 😊

Nice collection of plants and garden DIY level equipments. Like the cafe and hot food served here. It's a big plus when you go with kids to refuel.

Love this garden centre any time of year, but is especially lovely at Christmas. Great place for a meal, snack or afternoon tea. Finally, the friendliest pet department anywhere!
