I cannot thank Harry (owner) and his team enough for allowing me to host my Dads Surprise 70th Birthday event at Old School Cafe.

We had approx 55 guests attend and as you can imagine the cafe was very busy.
Harry and his team made sure that the food was served warm and the guest all complemented on how delicious the food was!!

Harry helped me plan the day to the enth degree and coordinated the music to start right on cue for when the surprise party began. :-)

The team of staff are super friendly and always checked in to see of my guests and I needed anything.

You have to try the full English breakfast it's and the package its sooo yummy!!

Thank you so much Old School Cafe for the best day.

Had meant to visit this place for 20 years. Finally made it...wish I'd been going for years! Brilliant. Great food. My vegetarian partner had plenty of choice, and my non-veggie elements were really tasty. Love knowing it's proud to serve local produce. And the cakes.... oh!

Gem of a cafe in a nice location not far from Chobham Common and open seven days. Great stop after a walk. Very clean and modern with a cool retro ambience. Excellent cafe menu and friendly, efficient service but a quick hot chocolate stop only, burgers next time.
Way better than Costa or Starbucks! . Has some sofa type chairs with the normal type. Clean toilets and easy parking.

I think, actually I know I’ve just had the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I’ll die on this hill as I am claiming the best breakfast in Surrey.

The Old School house is a gem in the Surrey countryside. Used by locals and people from afar alike judging by the busy the car park (still lots of space), plus a smattering of cyclists and dog walkers, an eclectic clientele in a warm and welcoming eatery. A hubbub of conversations and life, just how relaxed dining should be. It’s really clean, it has rustic old school furniture and enough tables to satisfy even the largest of coach parties but still sized enough for it not to be hangar like. It says what it is, it’s an old school house so expect parquet floor, big windows and a high degree of ‘echo’ from voices, but a great sized cafe. This nostalgic feel is exactly the pitch the owners have gone for and it’s on point.

So to the food, bubble & squeak brunch (superb) we had two of them plus the dirty fries (ample enough sized portion for two of us to share). I’ve had dirty fries a lot and I’ve never had ones as fresh, tasty and the right level of hit from the dried chilli flakes. The fried eggs were beautifully cooked, the sour dough was not toasted to an inch of its life so still had a a bounce to it. They get their bread from the Gingerbread Man so it’s something we’re used to. Some say local and do one thing, these say local and you can tell. I love supporting the local economy.

No cheap beans used either and the dish was finished with a wee garnish of greenery. These finishing touches really let you know that there’s love put into every dish.

We had a pot of tea for one each and you get 3 full cups from it, so really generous sized teapots also. Tea also comes in mugs too and obviously an extensive menu of others drinks are available including smoothies.

I cannot fault my experience here and it set us up for a great bank holiday day.

I’ve found a new regular breakfast place. Thank you. We will be back.

Great breakfast and coffee. £15 for the double double full English. Everything was cooked fresh with great farm produce. The service was really warm and friendly. This was well worth the visit. Plenty of parking around the side and back of the property. We will be back soon.

I love this place! I drive from Basingstoke to have breakfast and a oat flat white. Staff is friendly and always available. The kids love it too. Great and quiet location. I discovered it by chance and it is really worth the drive. Cozy atmosphere

A nice selection of meals and snacks. Food was reasonable and tasty. Staff were very nice, friendly and considering that they were numerous staff members short the service was quite prompt. Overall a great experience.

Fab little spot for breakfast after a night shift. Amazing breakfast selection. Great staff, very friendly and tried really hard to accommodate dietary requirements. Dog friendly, she even got brought out a sausage cut up for her to eat so a definite paws up from her too.

Nice cafe not too far off the m25, very good food. My only recommendation would be for food to come out at the same time as one person in our party was waiting whilst the rest of us had our food.
