I don’t know why but we developed a hankering for a big steak pie with chips and peas. As M&S were closer we went there (it was cold, dark and getting late). All they had was large chicken pies. We left and went to Waitrose. Got to the pie section and NO STEAK PIES. All they had was the chicken. A member of staff overheard us and recognised my ridiculous disappointment. He asked us to wait and went to check the store room. Voila! Out he came with exactly what I wanted. We then cruised around the rest of the store and ended up spending £100 on some fabulous foods and wine (shopping when you’re hungry). Ended up having a lovely Indian meal and the steak pie is in the fridge for tomorrow. One excellent member of staff saved a customer and increased the takings by giving some service. Well done Waitrose

i went to waitrose cafe a few weeks ago with my mum, they have lots of young staff who are very polite, although busy they adapted to the conditions and make our experience very pleasant! i will definitely be returning

Just wanted to say I was served by a lady called Sarah today at the till, tall lady with blonde Bob hair cut- she was absolutely exceptional. Best service I’ve had in a long time- she deserves a raise! I hope her manager sees this and acts accordingly. Thank you Sarah

Called into Waitrose for a few groceries and respite in the cafe. There's not much to say really, quality is almost always on point, and customer service makes the mundane chore of grocery shopping more pleasurable!

What can I say?, it's Waitrose. You get what you pay for, it beats the other supermarkets easily. The staff are really helpful, and friendly. The selection of produce is great, and the meats are excellent.

Really good quality of food and the tech there and the section of tech you got all of kinds of tech and I recommend you people going there. A bit expensive but the food is a 10/10.

Still a relaxing shop enhanced by great voucher offers. It seems to be less busy with more spot reductions. Good fish selection with 10% discount is a Friday special offer.

Enjoyable shopping experience. Waitrose stocks grocery items you cannot normally find in other places. First discovered paneer cheese here, now a number of supermarkets stock it. Lurpak was on special offer when I visited, cheaper than non branded butters. Staff always helpful.

Great to buy some fantastic flavours, car parking setup very well.

Ordered on Deliveroo and quite a few items weren’t available (not common items so I’m not hugely surprised!) they left me a lovely note on my order bag and gave me a pizza and a couple of other bits free as an apology - so so kind of them! Thank you so much Waitrose! ☀

Like going there, well stocked and tidy. Best of all is the cold meat deli. Fresh slices, not your pre packed muck like the other supermarkets have reverted to. Great place to shop and not as pricey as I thought.

Always good service when I go here but today it was outstanding service. Saff the duty manager assisted me in finding what I wanted, as well as making some great suggestions. Many thanks.

The produce is in its prime. The queues at checkout minimal. The price is about 10% more than the horror experience of the discount supermarkets.

A great store, so clean and tidy, friendly Starr and a great selection of food and wine.

Super premium products and great service. The store is well laid out and I find the whole shopping experience relaxing. I find everything I need under one roof.

Busy but well staffed, shopping items can be easily located near Ravenswood Ipswich, great quality

Lovely staff who are helpful and friendly. A good range of products in store, many of which are hard to find elsewhere. Good range of vegan and free from food as well! Parking is generally very easy, with a good amount of disabled and parent & child spaces near the store front. The cafe is pretty good and well situated at the front of the store.
