Wheelchair and buggy access ♿
Ramps put out by station masters to help get on and off trains
Great food and drink available but long queue for each separate queue ( one queue for drinks one queue for food)
Cars, bikes, lorry's, trucks, army vehicle, classic cars.
Train rides were fabulous.
Staff very friendly and helpful and it was very well organised.
Lots of clean and well stocked toilet facilities all around the site.
Picnic tables if you want to take your own.
Car park isn't far to walk to the main entrance.
Things for the children to do.
Definitely worth a day out.
We took my disabled brother and he loved it.

Beautiful set up for railway lover. My 2yrs old toddler was absolutely loveit and don't want to leave. The history, collection of engine over centuries. Steam railway was another great experience.

We will definitely be back.

What a lovely day out - lots to see and do and all for a reasonable price. £10 for an adult and that includes all the exhibitions and train rides.
I was amazed at how much there was to see. It’s hidden away very well. Clearly a lot of money and care has been spent to make this a great place to visit.
Some of the events (festivals and special days) look really interesting so will definitely try it out again soon.

What a gem of a place. Whilst based around the narrow gauge collection they are expanding the offerings for families. The collection is unbelievable. Well worth visiting. We will definitely return in the main season to see more running trains and teams. Note that the phones are not manned on weekends. Surprisingly no brochures available to help spread the word. Well worth supporting. Buy tickets in advance in the busy season.

Such an amazing place. This weekend was the Road Rail and Ale festival. Truly amazing always so much to see and do.
Would totally recommend a visit even when not an event on!

We absolutely loved it here!! It has a bit of everything and the roundhouse museum is like nothing I've ever seen before.
The soft play is brilliant!
Train rides so fun!
Roller disco looks amazing!
Museum has lots to explore.
There's also a lovely little shop; children's diggers; zip wire and two swings.
The gentleman who greeted us at the gate to take our tickets was so friendly and cheery - really set us up for a lovely day.

Little kids can spend the whole day enjoying two interesting trains suitable for everyone. Unfortunately, Strawberry Park is closed today. However, there are climbing games that are really enjoyable for bigger kids. The cafe offers food with a decent taste, but bringing some food is recommended for a more delicious experience. Overall, it was a good journey and a valuable visit.

What a fun action packed day we had here. I recommend going when an event is on which is quite regularly so look at the website for the event dates.

We went during the miniatures weekend and there was so much going on. We had several different steam train rides, a short trip on a tram and also a local bus tour on a heritage bus. All included a within our ticket price.

We had a two year old with us and we’re really impressed at the overall value as rides and attractions were also included within the ticket price including access to soft play.

The museum is great too and has a great collection of trains to see and there was plenty of information to read that was readily available including videos and display boards.

Food and drinks including a bar is available as well as bringing your own food. There is plenty of outdoor and indoor seating in the courtyard and we took our own picnic.

If you rushed around the attractions you could see statfold in about 1-2 hours, but if you relax take your time and enjoy the trips and want to enjoy everything it has to offer you can easily spend a day here like us.

We are already looking at the event’s calendar to plan our next visit. Highly recommended day out.

Visited on a Wednesday and it was pretty much a free run of the place. Soft play included for the little one, total of around 18 for an adult and child. A nice little museum full of trains and some reading to be done, nice little cafe and softplay/climbing area. We went on two of the trains, both running once an hour and rides unlimited. The mini train takes you into a short walk around a lake or Reservoir and is shaded by the trees. There's also a swing ride, bouncy castle and inflatable slide. We had a great day!

Greatest Santa experience so far! Singing elves, a real steam train, great activities and helpful friendly staff, and a great Santa. The children loved it, thank you.

Fantastic place for both grandparents and grandchildren. Really well laid out exhibition areas with chance to get close to most exhibits. Narrow gauge and 2'-0" gauge railway trips Included in pride together with soft play area, indoor activity area. Together with a number of children's playgrounds. Roller skate rink and climbing wall at small additional cost.
Plenty of picnic area's and refreshment bars.

We had a lovely day at Statfold Country park. The boys could let off steam in the soft play and on the bounces castles. The trains were amazing so much time and care have gone into these little engines. I've never seen so many different shapes and sizes. Was lovely to read the stories behind the trains.
We enjoyed our train ride.

The Christmas train ride experience is brilliant. By far the best Santa you will find he listens and engages with the children and in turn they love him. You are not ushered out at speed its fabulous. Gifts afterwards are of high quality, atmosphere great and the staff clearly love being part of it. Been for the last two years, will be going again and would highly recommend.

Visited during this year's (2023) Model Railway Show which also included travel on any of the miniature railways around the site. Brilliant exhibition with a good range of layouts. On-site plenty of static and live trains to look at or watch or ride behind. Very good facilities and extremely clean and tidy.

Best Christmas experience we've ever done. Everything from start to finish was beautifully thought out. Santa was wonderful. There were plenty of activities but not so many that the kids were overwhelmed or rushed. They were incredible with youngests allergies. Allergens were clearly marked at every event and they had safe alternatives every time.

We attended the Road, Rail and Ale event. Fantastic show. Lots to see and do. Great value for money. Beer reasonably priced too. Also did the “driver for a fiver” and drove a steam engine! Great place to visit.

A wonderful day packed with magical activities and interests for all ages. We were transported into a wonderland of fun and happiness. Craft, play and food, what more does one need. All in a clean and safe environment that caters well for my disabilities with more Christmas 🎄 trees than I could count. Merry Christmas Statfold. Thank you to all Staff and Father Christmas 🎅🤶 and Mrs Christmas.
