Chico's Peri Grill

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meal. I tried the peri peri chicken with rice and lamb chops, and they were fantastic. The peri chicken was a perfect 10/10, and I especially enjoyed the flavorful rice. I've had rice from other places before, but this one had a unique and exceptional taste. I want to take a moment to acknowledge the chef for their excellent cooking skills.

One issue I did notice was that the restroom smelled quite unpleasant. I hope this issue will be addressed in the future.

The cheeky loaded fries are probably the nicest loaded fries I've ever had!

Good value for money. Always get the platter. Full chicken, 2 sides, and 2 drinks. Food arrives very fast and fresh

Had a pit stop here needed to refuel and didn’t want any junk so decided to find a grill place.

2 floor restaurant, I’d say decor wise nothing to mention just dated but there was also a vibe.

Menus is varied and prices are good.

We ended up getting a family platter full chicken sides drinks etc.

Sides = chips and rice.

Chip = no complaints
Rice = was nice had a Asian/desi twist way better than Nando’s “spicy” rice.
The salad it came with was really nice what I believe to be subway sweet onion sauce on top yummy yummy.

The chicken - I saw this huge amount of chicken on this platter had to use both hands to count because the math just wasn’t mathing.

Generally speaking a whole chicken is 2 breast pieces and 2 legs pieces, this platter came with 2 breast 2 legs 2 wing and 2 extra breast slices. Kapoooowww protein galore.

Flavour was good and cooked well, I like mine well done crispy skin n all dat commmmeeee onnn.

Conclusion -

Defo going back good food good prices

I’d like to add for a personal preference if you guys could add a creamy creamy coleslaw to that chicken platter I think I’d be eating there everyday

On the way home and petrol station sandwich was just not going to do the job today 😂 so glad I stopped here. Peri Chicken wings chips and rice. Absolutely worth the money. Cannot fault the food

The biggest surprise in Stockport Trent, really good restaurant, I highly recommended.

Order at the till and walk down the stairs for seat with a view of the canal, whether that's a good thing or not depends on the weather. The chicken is beautifully grilled and tender. The veggies are fresh and well seasoned. Proces are reasonable, but atmosphere is a little lacking. I would blame the location for that more than the staff.

Will come again!

Ordered a full chicken with 1/2 mango and 1/2 lemon & herb. Of all the chicken takeaways I've had, this was the only one where the flavour punched you in the face. The mango was amazing, and the lemon hit the right spot. The chips were surprisingly good too, even after a 10m drive back to the hotel. Faultless service, full recommendation

Excellent food and great value for money.

Brilliant for veggies. This place is tremendous and vastly superior to Nando’s. Everything was done perfectly and to a high standard. Great veggie burger, proper chunky chips and even the salad was crisp with a really nice dressing.

Absolutely delicious food. Only a bit overpriced. I ordered some chips and chicken. Delicious. Definitely worth it. Only strange thing was that as I walked out, i saw them launch an intercontinental ballistic missile in the general direction of chicinos (horrible restaurant)

The food was very nice and well flavoured I had the half chicken with rice. Price is in the average range. They don't accept card cash only but they have a website you can order through so that did make it easier. Overall good food and good prices.

I like the Peri Peri Chicken. The fries and rice so different in taste as well. Salad is nice but they put a very small quantity of salad. (i enjoy salad :P )

Came here on a review was not disappointed, food absolutely amazing grilled chicken succulent super tasty beats the big boy brand hands down, the sauces wow.. highly recommend great family atmosphere staff friendly quick service reasonably priced.

Amazing place, went here 5 years ago and it's still the same consistent amazing food today. The most flavourful and tender chicken and meat along with the best waffle I've ever had. Keep it up!
