Oh my goodness, what an absolutely stunning place for a wedding. Julie, the events coordinator, is fantastic. Really goes above and beyond all expectations. Nothing was too much trouble, and because of her, the day ran smoothly. The staff are all friendly and polite. I've eaten in the restaurant here many times and never knew this hidden delight even existed. If you are looking for a Fabulous Place that pulls out all the stops for you for your wedding or celebration, I would 100% recommend you take a look around here. ❤

Xmas works do and food was exceptional. Sometimes you get a turkey dinner with 2 water thin slices..not here several proper cuts and delicious. Cracking little disco thing and great choice of beers. All good.
Didn’t stay over so can’t comment on accommodation.

We do not live in Staffordshire now but we got married here in 2009 and always return to celebrate. The food is always outstanding as is the service and welcome!.
If you are unsure of a smaller wedding venue. THIS IS IT! FANTASTIC!

We visited for a family meal to celebrate the life of a family member after a funeral. Food and service was great and can highly recommend if you are looking for a venue.

We had a naming ceremony and birthday party for our daughter's 1st birthday, and it was fantastic! All staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the Briar Suite was beautiful! We had the naming at the wedding room which was wonderful. Would definitely visit again, I've had some great food from the pub and the granary restaurant before and enjoyed it =)

Visited the pub, not accomodation. Had a salmon special, and miss had a Caesar salad with salmon as add-on, an actual salmon fillet not just a slice of smoked salmon. We had a great time and got to chat with some friendly locals. It's our second time and it was great to catch up with a local we met on our last visit. I'd recommend visiting it and have some of the specials from the chalk board.

Did not use the bedrooms so unable to rate this. The food is amazing - hats off to the chef and his team. Waitresses and waiter also amazing

Warm and welcoming! We had food in the restaurant! It was a varied menu, at average prices! The quality of food was excellent, and the service was brilliant! There was no issue with us just walking in (with no reservation) the staff were very accommodating

We stopped off for lunch, and the food was excellent. My husband had the roast turkey dinner and said it was very good and lots of. I had the homemade quiche and salad, which was lovely.
The staff were very friendly.

Great service, just went in for a beer and a waitress took our order and we paid when we left.

Lovely cosy warm and welcoming place. Food was amazing. Their steak and kidney pie is one of the best I've had. All four meals were delicious. Service was friendly and attentive.

Didn't stay overnight so can't comment on the rooms etc. Went for a baby naming ceremony. And buffet. Nice location and facilities. Buffet was excellent. Lots of good food and choice. Service was friendly and efficient.

Our son and now daughter in law held their wedding here and the place and staff really made the day. From arriving to leaving the following day it went like clockwork. Good food / drinks and facilities were spot on, as were the staff, who know how to treat everyone. Everything the happy couple wanted they got. Everyone who attended had no complaints. Some very happy memories made here for so many people. A big round of applause for making their day special.

Had an amazing meal when they had a seafood special night 28th March. The service was impeccable and having been a fishmonger I know decent fresh fish when it's put in front of me! Best octopus I've ever had. Fabulous for a special occasion.

Went here for a funeral wake. The service from the staff was impeccable and the food, a buffet, was excellent.

I would rate my recent experiences of food and service as excellent...The bar staff, waiting staff and office staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and I cannot fault the food in any way. Quality and presentation has been excellent.

Lovely hotel with very attentive and friendly staff. Food was really good and the service was excellent, the staff are so nice. Rooms were very nicely decorated and very clean. Thank you to everyone for a great stay!

A beautiful little pub/restaurant. Stopped here for a business lunch and the food was superb. The staff were amazing and very friendly.

Stayed for a couple of nights to attend a family wedding. What a delightful venue for a wedding. The staff were attentive without being obtrusive. The catering was outstanding: food delicious, served quickly and hot (a real knack, given the numbers). The event staff were incredibly professional, bar staff were just lovely and a special mention for Richard for keeping the morning coffee topped up ;)
