During our holiday in Wales, we frequented this establishment numerous times and were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and delicious cuisine. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Charlie, whose kindness and attentiveness made our experience memorable. I highly recommend this place!

Stumbled upon this place on our drive home from breacon. The place was very nicely designed on the inside and the Sunday lunch menu was really good. Had the 3 courses for £30 (+£5 supplement for the lamb)
Pigeon breast to start was delicious
Lamb roast also very good and a decent size. Only slight complaint would be the roast potatoes needed to be a bit fresher/crispier.
Sticky toffee pudding for dessert with the honeycomb was also great! Would definitely visit again

I’ve stayed here before, but tonight was just an impromptu evening visit to see if their food was everything I recalled it to be. It is! No need to book tonight, prompt and courteous service, an exquisite rack of lamb, an interesting and delicious cheeseboard, and a glass of a very well kept port. But whilst I highly commend the food and wine, it is the service that really makes Foyles an outstanding restaurant. It’s a venue where a standard that most fine dining establishments strive for is routinely achieved regardless of who is serving you, or which manager or chef is on duty. Perfection is hard to achieve, but visit Foyles and you will experience it happen around you. Enjoy!

Situated in a peaceful beautiful location, Foyles is well presented with a fresh, modern country feel. Excellent range of draft beer etc and good wine list. Service is personal & friendly. Went for Sunday lunch and good selection of choices on menu. The Beef & Pork were fantastic as was Brownie Sundae & Strawberry cheesecake. Cannot fault anything, portion size, taste, presentation etc were all excellent.

The place was suggested by friends, and it is great indeed. The menu is sophisticated and all dishes we chosen were delicious and even beautiful. Do not miss ‘The citron’ at the end! :-) Congratulation for the Chef!

Sunday lunch today, 1st August, was excellent. We chose the roast beef which was beautifully cooked as were the vegetables. The cauliflower cheese was very good too. Dessert was delicious as well. The staff were friendly and helpful. Very good value and an enjoyable experience. We'll definitely eat here again.

Lovely building, beautiful decorations and food is fantastic.

Have visited multiple times for lunch, afternoon tea and evening meal and have not been disappointed.

Freshly prepared food and very tasty. Food is worth the price. Good range of drinks served at the bar.

Nice outside area with tables and chairs
Be nice to have a covered outside area as well as Wales has a tendancy to rain.

The rooms are beautifully decorated to a very high standard and everything is very clean.

Highly reccomend visiting and also book in advance to secure a table as can get very busy.

Two of us ate at Foyles of Glasbury two nights in a row after a fabulous experience on the first night. A beautifully presented building and well-appointed restaurant with super decor and a cleanliness that would be the envy of many. A trip to the lavatories confirmed the level of detail was extended to the washrooms - immaculately tidy and clean.
Our table was in the main restaurant and our order serviced by the cheerful and helpful Nancy. Wine was brought by Etienne who did all he could to make our visit to the restaurant a pleasant one. On the first evening we had the prawn cocktail followed by the Slow Cooked Ox Cheek which was utterly delicious. A generous portion of starter and main and a lovely drop of Viognier with the prawns and then a rich Malbec with the beef.
A really good experience for us which saw us return the next evening. We had to use the bar area as the main restaurant was fully booked but it made little difference. The food was of the highest standard. We had the carpaccio of beef (superb!) and then a rack of welsh lamb.. what could be better than this in Wales?! Fantastic meal in Foyles and we will certainly be back.

We stayed here last night for a works Christmas party and what a wonderful place it is! Our room was very spacious, well equipped and lovely and clean. All the members of staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. There's always a worry with a large group booking (30+) that the food might not be up to scratch but we had nothing to worry about at all. The starter, main and dessert were all delicious and well presented. Highly recommended place to eat, drink and sleep, we will definitely be back.

Lovely place small local hotel with a very nice restaurant which serves some amazing food at reasonable prices as well, food is great flavours put together well, well presented food on the plate, look good to eat & not to much like a piece of art work. We all had different dishes for starters, mains and dessert, all tasted great to my palate and again very good portions served up for each course. Fully recommend this restaurant and the hotel is wonderful of course, who ever did the décor for the interior had bags of style and flair for interior design top marks all around. All staff deserve a mention from the chef, kitchen staff, bar & waiting staff to front of house all very pleasant and happy in their jobs. My personal five star rating is worth it, as a lot of effort has been put in to achieve that feeling of pleasant luxury country hotel & restaurant.
