Ty Poeth Farm & Shop

Wonderful visit for an Easter trail, gorgeous surroundings, exceptionally friendly staff and beautiful lamb sausages to bring home! James was extremely kind with our little boys and they loved learning about the farm. Must visit!

Lovely little family farm which holds seasonal events and has a farm shop. We were so lucky to see the end of the sunflower maze as this event had passed when we attended the open day, but we saw a few sunflowers still bowing their heads in the sun and there was a corn maze, which the children loved. Its really high too so great fun. We loved the piggies. Lots of local produce stalls, although foodie stalls were a little pricey especially for families with children but food in fairness was a reasonably quality. You could take your own picnic as lots of places to sit, with toilets close by too. We got there early and by lunchtime lots more had arrived too. There were also a few places for children to play not to mention the fresh air and space to run and be free. Great fun we are going to pop back for pumpkin season and to sample some produce in the farm shop! Forget to add lots of parking too and right by the horse and jockey pub and canal.

Visited today and had a lovely time! Definitely take your wellies though if visiting.

We stopped while cycling and everyone was so friendly. We loved the chocolate milk shake, honey, lip balm and the dogs. A wonderful stop!

Stumbled across this farm shop and it is an absolute gem. Charming and delightful service and the food is incredible. If they ever have treacle bacon it is a must! I would go back there anytime for another fix of the bacon! Thank you.

What a lovely spot and a lovely friendly family who run the farm. We did not stay long as I took my autistic niece and she really enjoyed the pigs. The walks are tapered so they are easy to manoeuvre. Even though it was hot, there was a lovely breeze. Very friendly shop staff to and Janet was so warm and welcoming. Can’t wait to see how the place grows over time. Thank you James and family.

Such a special place! We absolutely loved pumpkin picking! So many different varieties too. This was our first time at the farm and we will definitely be back. Lots of things going on and it all sounds great! Lovely family day out in the fresh air! Thank you x

Absolutely fantastic trip to the farm to meet James, our little one had a great time playing with the dog and his lad.

Great little set up! We came away with a whole load of lamb, two t bone steaks, duck and chicken eggs.

The lamb has to be the tastiest lamb I have ever tasted, yet to eat the steaks although our little one is a massive fan of the duck eggs! We will definitely be back!

Lovely place, will definitely go again

What a lovely hour we had picking pumpkins at TY Poeth family farm, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and bagged some lovely (and very reasonably priced) pumpkins and lovely organic fresh milkshakes, highly recommend going up here for an hour one day during the week, they have also got a farm shop which I'm very excited to have a look at the next time we go up, thanks Mr JR Morris your a diamond mate 😊 (also don't listen to the negative reviews on here about prices, if you wanted to pay four pound for a pumpkin then you should have gone to the supermarket, otherwise the experience of picking your own is priceless) 😁

This is our local farm, James produces an excellent high quality produce of meat, the pork&black pudding sausage was so tasty with duck eggs, the pork chops were absolutely divine. We recommend the people of Torfaen to support our local farms and this farm is highly recommended. Thank you James

I bought a joint of beef and some pork and leek sausages yesterday ....cooked them for Sunday dinner today ....what a fab taste on the beef 😋 and highly recommend the sausages ....glad it's on my doorstep will definitely be back for more ....thank you

A stunning gem of a farm shop one of the cleanest organised experience at the edge of the Brecon Beacons national park ..a truely lovely afternoon spent with the children who thoroughly loved the animals play area and friendly welcome ..child & family orientated with lots to see and do ..delicious produce ..walks on the canal ..take a picnic and admire the beautiful scenery ..love this place for all ages can’t recommend enough …

Came pumpkin picking in the dark, was lovely, lights to light the way, plenty of selection, staff were lovely and helpful, would 100% recommend

This family run farm produces excellent premium quality meat with particular attention to the animals welfare. Highly recommended.
