Premier Inn Winchester hotel

Couldn’t fault a thing. The room was great - the extra you pay for a Premier Plus room is definitely worth it. Easy access to the motorway from here but also just a 10 minute walk down into Winchester City Centre. Just remember to enter your reg on the tablet at reception to avoid a parking fine.

Room wasn't ready but George was there to help with drinks whilst we waited. Room was comfortable and clean. Dinner was nice and well priced. There was a wide range a breakfast. Only issue was the WiFi was rubbish.

Really great for a budget hotel. Food good value and deals available. Ample parking. Drinks a little expensive for northern tastes. Friendly staff.

After two (2) most comfortable nights and stay in Winchester I commend all of the staff for their professional care in making our stay so pleasant. The breakfast was well catered for both continental and full english also the care that was given to anyone with an allergy. This is not the 1st time we have used Premier Inns and most certainly will not be the last. Keep up the good work

Great Room as always!Also food in restaurant was lovely and friendly staff. Special mention to Will who was excellent and great with kids giving them drawings etc.

Lovely clean hotel. I put 3 stars for location as the phone signal was awful, and wifi wasn't great. Trying to get a taxi was a nightmare for a reasonable price due to location but not hotels fault. But they hotel itself, couldn't knock it. Great comfy beds, we all slept well 😴

A great place nice and clean warm welcome from the staff, easy route to the town and close to town.

One night stay. Meal deal is good value! Bed comfortable, slept well! Food was not spectacular, but nonetheless, it was quite adequate. Quiet surroundings. Approx a half-hour walk to the town centre.

Arrived early room was ready, I had requested a disabled access room with walk in shower,lovely large room plenty if space for scooter and wheelchair, I hadn't realised how low the bed was and after struggling to get off it,went to reception and all staff went ouf of their way to raise the beds to a great height for me.
All staff were friendly and helpful, food was great for dinner for 6 of us on the meal deal which is great value. Breakfast the next day was plentiful, hot,fresh and replenished quickly, location is OK although pavements and dropped kerbs for a mobility scooter user were far from ideal, cambers and a dropped kerb one side of the road but not the other so a journey to Costa coffee a few minutes walk away was a bit fraught. Obviously not Premier Inns fault but if you use a wheelchair or scooter something to be aware off.

This was a great place and location to stay 1 night before a cruise from Southampton. Food excellent and large portions. Service was brilliant only small negative is windows in rooms cannot be opened at all just air con but a bit stuffy in the night.

Brilliant hotel,rooms were big,plenty of useful amenities, comfy beds.

Lovely tidy rooms, good location to shops and centre of beautiful historical Winchester .May pay to make the evening menu a beat more expanded with the choice off dishes.

Everything you would expect from Premier Inn. The room was clean & tidy & the aircon had been on so the room was really comfortable . Nice quiet area although the walk into town was around 15 mins. Hotel is part over the car park so some of the spaces are a little tight. Breakfast was the best we've had in awhile, I think that was because they cooked in smaller batches than other properties we have visited. All hot & everything was available.

We stayed here for one night so we could visit the Winchester Christmas market. The hotel isn't as new as some PIs we've stayed at recently, and would benefit from some tlc, but overall it looked fine. Our room was similarly a little tired, especially the bathroom, but it was still a good size and very clean. The service was excellent, as usual, and my all-you-can-eat breakfast was top-notch. They even heated my pastry in the oven! Free parking is included. Recommended.
