Motorhome stop over. Made to feel very welcome on arriving. Pie night at the pub. Fantastic homemade pie and they were freshly made for the vegetarian!
Would definitely recommend a visit!

Lovely, friendly and clean pub stay. Much prefer this to usual hotels. Got nice bar snacks and good beers available. Nice and convenient especially after landing at Heathrow

So glad we made this pit stop! Popped in here as it was half way to our final destination, Sheila was so welcoming and accommodating for us and our baby boy! The food was lovely (ham egg and chips), the coffee was wonderful (and so needed), and the staff were friendly and polite. We'll try to stop off on the way home too. Thank you x

Very welcoming landlady in a traditional English pub. Very varied menu with good food. We stopped in our campervan on route north from Dover and were made to feel very welcome.

A lovely place, an amazing welcome like they are family. Room has everything you need inc a proper tea pot and large flat screen. Prices are reasonable but worth every penny.

Would love to come back

This pub is run by the amazing Shiela, who is a local treasure and makes every visit entertaining. Don’t expect formality or anything approaching the trappings of modernity, but you will have had a good time whatever you went there for. Pub grub, B&B, camping, beer garden, small function room all available.

Very friendly and welcoming pub with traditional decor. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the evening meal was lovely, good quality at a reasonable price! The staff went out of their way to assist us with our onward travel which was very nice also.

Lovely, very quirky, old fashioned wayside inn. Middle of nowhere, which is one of its attractions. Don't visit if you want a polished modern experience, but if you're looking for an old style boozer, it's fab!!

Beautiful and quaintly decorated pub, run by a lovely lady named Sheila. We arrived 10mins before lunch was due to stop and she squeezed us in. Amazing food and wonderful friendly service. Highly recommend for lunch. There's seating inside and also out the back in a large garden with apple trees and birdlife.

Lovely traditional pub, warm and welcoming. Huge beer garden and space for us to stay overnight in the camper. Good, reasonably priced pub food. A lovely stopover for us (2adults, 2 children and 2dogs). Would highly recommend x
