Blackdown Pre-School

I cannot recommend Blackdown Preschool more highly! After touring a number of different local nurseries and Montessori's, when I finally came across Blackdown, I knew within just a few minutes that my sons (3 & 2) would be happy here. The staff have been so kind and supportive helping both of my boys settle in quickly, and have offered so much love and attention to my kids while I've been working, including help with things like potty training and speech development. Honestly couldn't sing Kellie & the rest of the staff's praises anymore. We'll be sad to leave Blackdown when the boys start primary school.

We had to find a nursery setting when my son’s nursery in lightwater unexpectedly closed last minute. I looked at 6 nurseries in total and Blackdown Pre-school was clearly the setting that was best for our son.
The staff are warm, nurturing and amazing with the kids, the inside space in large and bright with plenty of things to engage all the children, the large outside garden offers plenty of space for the children to run and around and has plenty of different activities for them to choose from.
They do lots of little things over the course of the year that allow parents to engage with their children (a mother’s/father’s day morning where mothers/fathers get to come in and play with their children) a Christmas fair and other little things that set this pre school apart from others.
From what I have heard from other parents, once they had visited blackdown pre school it became their obvious choice for their child.
I really could not recommend this nursery enough!

Great preschool - lovely outside area and supportive team. Lots of options for additional activities and my daughter loves it here! Highly recommend.

Our son started preschool approx 4 weeks ago age 2. He was understandably shy, nervous and cried initially but the wonderful staff handled his emotions and experiences extremely well and gave me the confidence to persevere despite the tears.
The facilities are great for little ones especially the outdoor area, considerate staff take the time to talk parents and understand any concerns / help to resolve any settling in issues.

Overall my experience of this preschool has been very positive and I would happily recommend to any friends or family.

Lovely preschool, great learning environment for my son. Well organised. Staff are very friendly and always keep you informed.

Wonderful caring Pre-school with a fantastic large outdoor play area my child loves it here !
