What an amazing find! The staff were so friendly from the minute you walk in, nothing was too much trouble. And the food was amazing, great portions and value for money. I wish I lived closer as would love this place as my local! Cannot recommend it enough! Thank you xx

Came here today for a Sunday dinner as everywhere else local was fully booked and it was fantastic! The service was great, Sunday dinner was lovely, we all had three courses and finished everything on our plates! The staff couldn’t do enough for you. And such great value for money! We thoroughly had a lovely meal out.

The only one tiny thing we would say is it would’ve been nice to have a little bit of background music playing. I know it’s not for everyone, and it’s not a criticism in any way, just some neutral feedback. Other than that it was all round fantastic!

Went here for a drink before going for food elsewhere, the drinks, the atmosphere, the landlords were that great that we stayed here for food aswell! So glad we did, the burgers were amazing!!! Cannot recommend enough if you are in the area!!

We had an after Christmas last minute lunch here, the food was so good. A real pub with excellent food such a rarity, we will definitely be going here again

Had a fabulous meal tonight 14.1.23 for my husbands birthday. Staff were very attentive, food fab and amazing price! Lovely friendly atmosphere. So much nicer than going to a chain restaurant. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Travelling quiet ways to Donington raceway by motorbike, Stopped for coffee and hot sandwich, lively, caring staff, clean and excellent service alround 👍

Have been here a number of times but never for Sunday lunch. Today decided to pay a visit and we were not disappointed. The meal was cracking, more than I expected and all freshly cooked, so much so we will be back and will recommend it to our friends.

Returned lunchtime, this time to try the £5 (3 for £12) lite bites. Good value and good portions - however we ordered 6 for the two of us, which was too much :-) but they kindly boxed up the remaining pieces for us to take home.
All fairly beige looking ( as you would expect from the description), so maybe a salad option would be a nice touch (not sure if available elsewhere on menu)
The service was very friendly and efficient. Dogs welcome

Amazing and welcoming bar staff as well as Landlords. Great customer service from all members of staff whether it was the landlord or waiting staff bringing our pizzas to us, which where freshly made as they showed me how they made them and were absolutely delicious, or the bar staff who were friendly and welcoming when ordering our drinks. Would definitely go to the Bull and Lion again. 10/10

Came here with the kids on Tuesday, the landlady was so good with the kids! It’s such a family friendly place! Hard to find with pubs these days, kids loved their food. I had the hunters chicken, think it was probably the best one I’ve ever had.

Drew and Tracy are lovely welcoming hosts. The food is great value, and portion sizes are more than adequate. We'll worth a stop, if in the area.

Best looming barmaid on the planet. The Sunday lunch was beautiful too. Jenga to hand.

From the moment of walking through the door, Tracey, Drew and their team made us feel welcome. We were having a pit stop between Somerset and Yorkshire so we were looking for quality food, good value and speedy service. The Bull and Lion Inn did not disappoint... and a great atmosphere to boot.... oh and, most importantly, dogs welcome too! Many thanks to one and all for the great service and the good food.

Just had Sunday Lunch and it was delicious. Had a selection of meats with peas, sweet corn, cabbage, carrots, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and roast parsnips and Yorkshire pudding.
Everything was cooked from fresh and it was excellent….couldn’t resist the homemade apple crumble with custard I’m in good heaven!!
Definitely recommend 😋😋😋😋
