Always been dubious buying fish from these stores but we got some beautiful platys, guppies and cherry shrimp from here in the last few months. Staff has always been really helpful and friendly and the fish are happy and healthy! Don't be put off by other stores practices, Ashby store really care about their tanks being in the best condition

Brilliant place to shop, great offers and helpful staff

Young man asked if I needed any help but I had what I wanted already. But as I went towards the til another young man and woman noticed the puppy food and informed me of the puppy club and showed me how to get our new pup coco on site and showed me how too save money on food and things. How lovely was that ,so caring and excellent service.

Just want to say thank you to Jamie. Me and my partner were standing at the puppy food trying to work out which one to try next and he came over and had a really helpful conversation with us about some of the best brands (and the reasons why).
We didn’t ask for help but he was more than happy to stand and chat to us about our pup and and helped us to pick a food based off of what we had said!

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been buying tropical fish from the ashby branch. Amazing staff. Very helpful and gave us lots of advice and tips. Wont be going anywhere else. Certainly the best pet store we have been to.

Nothing to much trouble for any of the staff, they are all very friendly. I wanted cat food which wasn't on the shelf, I asked if they had any more was told they were having a delivery In the morning, delivery arrived while I was on the shop, so they went to see if it had been delivered then went and fetched me one from the delivery, so I don't have to go back in tomorrow. Absolutely fantastic service.

Brilliant shop staff extremely helpful and friendly and you can take your dog in.

Brilliant experience in a pets workshop with Lucy. Excellent service when our daughter was choosing 2 gerbils. Lots of practical advice and a real focus on pet health.

Brilliant place for all your pet needs has every type of bedding you can think of to suit your cats and dogs, they have very friendly staff and answer any questions as best as they can I was looking for things for my cat told the lady what I needed and she helped me find them without even being asked so great service.

They have everything you could possibly need for you loving pets and the staff are always friendly and helpful, my favourite pet store.
