We had such a lovely evening. Everyone enjoyed their food, the drinks were flowing well and the waiter was fab. It was nice not to be turfed out like you used to be too! Will return

Now this place is something special, not your average pub food, the dishes we had were totally brilliant.
The beet was well kept.
Service brilliant.
Little dearer than usual pub food but you'll taste the difference.
It's a few miles from home but we will end revisiting this pub.
I recommend you try it.

Really lovely food and not too bad a price for really good quality - can't really single any dish out as they're all very well cooked and presented. Portion size OK. Service friendly and polite. Nice atmosphere.

Popped in for lunch, we had a fantastic time, and all the food was hot and tasty with the bakewell cheese cake being the stand-out dish !! Service was fast and very perlite staff.

I have been here a few times and can I not say that this is the best time ever. My Mrs told me we had to go out for meal and I chose my fave place. But not only did they deliver on their standard exceptional service but the staff are impeccable. I haven't been there for a while, the great barman who is always there remembered how I had my drink and recommended a new one that was even better. The highly attentive staff were amazing. I cannot fault this place and as a person who has never tipped anyone. I gave a huge tip. Well deserved to all involved thank you so much

An excellent restaurant serving high-quality food and drink with a great atmosphere and excellent service.

We went for a meal for four people and right from the start we experienced excellent and attentive service.

The food is of excellent quality. I had a steak on a hot lava rock. A novel way of cooking steak but it allows you to try your steak rare or well done... you decide. I also had a side salad that was, fresh and crisp with a lovely light dressing.

A great atmosphere in lovely surroundings and at times the large TV's display a roaring fire which adds to the cosy feel.

An excellent meal.

I visited here on the weekend with my in-laws. The restaurant itself is nice with nice decor and a large outside seating area, which I'd imagine would be lovely to sit in throughout the summer.

The service was great. There was a bit of a delay with the halloumi, but the staff were really apologetic about it. The food was really nice and good value for money considering. Myself and my family were full and more than happy with the food.

I ordered the duck pancakes, which came on a hot stone, I just didn't realise how hot it would be and how messy it would be - good job that they give me a tea towel and an apron to wear! I still really enjoyed it though.

Great place to go for meal, love that most of the tables are round, making it easy to chat to all at the table. It was a great experience cooking own steak, lovely piece of meat. All in party enjoyed, and great service.

1st time visit. Nice menu, from lunch snacks to full dinner al la carte. Friendly easy service with a nice relaxing vibe. Will visit again !
Now had a 2nd visit, my God the pizza is good 👍

Visited here on Saturday 3rd February. Very busy and always advisable to book. Table of 4 and we had starters, mains and deserts and a couple of drinks each. Total come to £125 and well worth it. Great food too. 😀

Really good..
Not too many restaurant options în the area however this restaurant is higher than average. The food came fast, the personnel was verry polite and friendly, prices not to high.
The music equipments and sound quality(Sonos 😉) convinced me come again here în the next day.
The food is good but not remarkable. Overall:Pleasant and friendly atmosfere, clean, served fast, sufficient parking places..why not come again:) ?

Gelsmoor never disappoints when you visit and me and my partner always have an amazing meal.

Staff are polite and attentive, food is reasonably priced and the pizzas are brilliant.

Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.

1st time here and we loved it food was great with a good service too. I had the ribeye steak on the stone to cook myself it was delicious and I loved it my wife had fish burger. Absolutely amazing I can still taste it writing this. Looking forward to returning soon x

Only stopped for a drink whilst passing. The staff were really welcoming and offered table service in the bar area which was nice. They had a wide selection of drinks to choose from. The food that did come out looked lovely so will be back for sure to try it.

Yes they serve spam fritters,yes their steaks are really good and so are their deserts, professional staff and it's a must experience steakhouse.

I had the delight of eating here for my birthday as a treat from my family. The staff are friendly, the service is quick and the food was delicious! We’ll definitely be eating here again.
