Found the lake by surprise, a lovely place to visit with a path to the subway and another by the lake. Also another which leads to the visitor centre. Parking available nearby.

Green walking trail very close to Heathrow Airport. We had one hour to kill before returning our rental car and heading off to Heathrow Airport, so decided to find a green walking trail to enjoy nature before our long flight home. Google map showed this trail which looked suitably close to the car rental company and Hwathrow Airport. Pleasant walking trail by a beautiful river/stream. Clean and clear water, gorgeous June weather, safe parking space. Bumped into a few dog-walkers and joggers. Loved it.

It was a great ride on International ride mountain bike day. Good place for spending precious time in the Nature with greenery & water. Only bad thing is you can hear the cars using the motorway next to this. Lovely place to walk or cycle.

Love this place, could happily walk around the moor and village for hours. You don’t have to own a dog to enjoy the experience but it does help. Be aware though that if it’s been raining a lot the lake does have a tendency to flood quite heavily. That being said it’s still a lovely place to walk your cares away.

Lovely place for walks with a dog (or someone else) not too busy too.
There are some mosquitoes here, low flying planes and the entrance to the car park is very narrow. But 5* in general

A large park near the airport, a great space for pets, especially dogs. Be sure to experience this place with your dogs, there is also a water canal in the area.

Great place to walk all day, not busy either, some seating dotted around, no toilets. Big carpark, but they've made it a small entrance to keep certain vehicles out, you'd not get a transit through or anything bigger, possibly not 4x4s either, entrance not that wide.

Just perfect 🥰
Parking is a bit tight going through the concrete barriers but there are other places along the outskirts if not confident to go through.
Gorgeous picturesque walking fields, lakes, hills and areas if u fancy climbing into the woodlands for more adventure.
Canadian war memorial is here too, and benches dotted around for picnics or just to enjoy the view
Pathways not very buggy freindly u less you have offroad wheels.
Beautiful secret location, hardly anyone comes here!
Very toddler freindly if u want to splash in muddy puddles or just want a quiet walk!
No cafes or toilets, nature at its best with no crowds

Great place for a dog walk, a bit close to the motorway and Heathrow but it does mean it’s quieter!

Some nice spots for dog swimming too.

Harmondsworth Moor is located beetween motorways M4, M25 and road A4 near Heathrow Airport. This is a nice open parkland contains the meadows, rivers, lakes and ponds. Meandering paths take you through open countryside and new plantations. Open area when you wanna walk with the dog. The parkland has two car parks, but they are not opened all the time at this same time. I like to walk up to the hills and the lake which is located more close to M4 where u can seat in peace from all the life rush.

Lovely wide open space with lakes and rivers. Nice for a walk. Great place for plane spotters as next door to Heathrow. Bit flooded when we went.

This is a really great place for dog walks, especially if your dog loves the water. The river is really clean and fast flowing enough to have no dangerous algae in the summer. There is also a lake, which is very picturesque
There are lots of paths you can follow and in the spring there are cowslips, primroses, bluebells and various other wild flowers that brighten the landscape.
It's a haven for wildlife and there are lots of birds and butterflies in the summer.
I'm always amazed that so few people come here. If you avoid the path close to the motorway, it's quiet and peaceful.
However, there are no facilities, but perfect for a short visit.

Whether walking on the wild side or strolling along the pathways, there is something for everyone at Harmondsworth Moor. Incredibly beautiful, get back to nature walking the fields, hills, river paths and lakeside pathway.

lovely place to take the dog , the kids and family . Or wonder through and come out at harmondsworth village where you can go to the small village stores or have a refreshing drink and something to eat at the two public houses . Then you can take a walk through the churchyard and back to the moor.

This is a lovely place, despite the sound of the M25 and M4 in the distance you can still get a feeling of being at one with nature.

One of my favourite destinations to walk to from Stanwell Moor in the south. Alas I don't think this will be possible before too long due to the third runway

Enjoy it while you can because if the Heathrow expansion plan got the go ahead, it will be gone along with the village. I hope it never happens because these green areas serve as earth's lungs. They absorb all the pollution, regulate the temperature, are essential for the overall environment and keep noise levels in check. Which by the way is already very high due to 24/7 traffic on three major motorways M25, M4 and M40.

And of course there is the main culprit Heathrow airport that has its greedy eyes set on this green village. As much as I love plane spotting and fascinated by aviation, I strongly think that there's absolutely no need for more concrete, tarmac and noise. We need more trees, bushes, grass and vegetation to suck up all the pollution caused by Heathrow not the other way around.

Its such a lovely detoxing place in its raw natural form that tempering with it should be treated as a crime.

The place is amazing. A lot of greenery and many footpaths to choose from. Nice place to spot airplanes. Very good for families and for pets.

Amazing place once you get away from the professional dog walkers who roam about with impunity. Loved the trails and wildlife.
