Nobody should never ever get cancer- but if you get it G1 unit is the greatest place to be.

I was diagnosed with cancer two and half years ago and refused to have a standard treatment. I did all sorts of holistic treatments and protocols - fasting, juicing, exercising, sauna, mediation, raw vegan diet, Budwig diet, mediation, yoga, breathing, herbs etc. I ended up unconscious in A&E with final stage of Non Hodgkin follicular lymphoma.
Still adamant not to have chemotherapy my consultant Dr. Rees came over to my room five times with tears in her eyes( literally) to persuade me stating the emergency of my physical state. I had to admit to myself that I had failed and I needed medical help as soon as possible.
I was in G1 unit for 50 days. I was treated by the most devoted, loving, caring, professional and unique people. I felt loved and supported by everyone and that had the biggest impact on me.
I came unconscious, could not breathe on my own, spent half of the time in a wheel chair and was discharged fully independent and ready to start a normal and active life.

Moving forward I am just about to start my final cycle of chemotherapy.
I could not be more happier and grateful for the exceptional care and love I received.

Thank you so much beautiful souls for giving me the hope and belief of the sense of humanity♥
I. S.

Hello. My mother, Maria Mroczkowska, was hospitalized with a suspected stroke. She visited me from Poland for 4 months. Unfortunately, as fate would have it, my mother fell ill and had a suspected stroke. The care and quick response at the Frimley Hospital, the help, care, kindness, surprised me. I have been living in England for 13 years, but it was the first time I met such wonderful, wonderful people in a hospital. Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for the wonderful care of my mother. You are wonderful!!!!!

All staff in the children's triage and assessment centre are really friendly, helpful and I felt so comfortable and at ease when my daughter was struggling to breathe properly. I was lucky to be there on a "manageable" Sunday evening when it wasn't too busy but everyone still rushed off their feet yet smiling and made my daughter (who usually really panics) really comfortable. Cannot fault the service and we were there for 7 hours, offered food and coffee. Thank you.

We are just back from Frimley Park Hospital. My husband's GP referred him last Friday, and we had an appointment at the stroke unit today. We arrived, checked in, and were greeted and accompanied throughout several appointments by Libby who was so friendly and explained everything. We had almost no waiting times for the various tests that were done. At the end of all the tests we were seen by Dr Siobhan Clarke and she was just brilliant, really took her time to explain everything thoroughly. I understand the NHS can get a lot of bashing but the treatment and doctors and nurses that we encountered today could not be faulted. I very much doubt anyone would have got better treatment in a private hospital. So well done NHS!

This is our best experience with doctors. We ended up in the children's department with a suspected severe infectious disease and were hospitalized literally 5 minutes later. Everyone is very polite and calm, no one will leave you alone with your problem. We thank all the staff of the children's department!

My darling wonderful father passed away a few days ago on ward f10. All the staff, palliative team and especially student nurse Kate Sutherland were so kind and supportive to my mum, myself and my partner Richard. They were kind and careful with my dad and listened to us when we asked for help when he appeared to need extra assistance in his care. They talked us through the situation clearly so we understood what was happening and is was greatly appreciated. Thank you all so much x

My 5star rating is mainly for ward f2! My father had his leg amputated below the knee and ward f2 have been amazing! Kept me and my mum upto date when we asked! The whole hopistal is very clean and all staff friendly! Only downfall is the car park we had to park in car park b with only steps down and my mother was disabled after having a stroke as no disabled spaces left! Car park isn't big enough. Maybe instead of steps it should be a ramp? At least people can get the wheelchairs down safely.

Truly blessed to have such an amazing local hospital facility. After trips to A&E where the volunteers are doing an amazing job providing tea/coffee and sandwiches due to the long wait I was admitted in F15 due to asthma exacerbation. The healthcare assistants, nurses and doctors are true angels. We had some difficult patients but the staff always remained calm and caring which was ever so inspiring. Thank you Jocelyn, Alben, Sam, Katie, Asmita, Rossell, Lauren, Dr Tooba, Dr Powell and so many others…

The F15 ward was clean and tidy and the food everyday was a treat - I’ll miss the homemade soups!

The doctors and consultants were always prompt with treatment and I felt well cared for every day I was there.

My grandmother and mum were admitted during the same time. Thank you to Tulsi on F14 for helping my grandmother with her food menu choices. And thank you to Courtney on Endoscopy Escalation unit for looking after my mum.

Great job to all staff at FPH - keep shining!

Visited this hospital twice recently- brilliant care team in eye clinic. Car park is an absolute nightmare. Roads gridlocked . Car park certainly needs some improvement to deal with the volume of cars entering/ leaving.

Thanks to the care of the Drs in ED, they found a very serious issue and saved my life because of the action they took. The ward staff who looked after me were amazing and made a horrible time alot easier to cope with. And everyone involved in my ongoing care are incredibly kind and supportive. Forever grateful.

I've been treated many times at Frimley, while I was in the Military and since then. over a 12+ years period. Always felt supported especially with cancer surgery and back issues. never felt let down. everything was explained regardless of precedure, and really cant complain, plus the pudding with custard was lush.

Frimley park hospital is a very good hospital. It has a maternity unit, good cardiology unit, paediatrics, fracture clinic and all the other departments you would expect at a hospital. There is a cafe which is reasonably priced and a coffee bar area as you go in through the main outpatients entrance. You will find a shop, book shop and baguette bar. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. I had to have an endoscopy and the staff were so good at reassuring me that I didn’t need to have sedation. I think this is great care from them as they reassured me and spoke to me all through the procedure.

Blood test and ultrasound scan done back to back with no delays and the sweetest staff I’ve ever met in a hospital. Lovely receptionists at all stages, kind and helpful bloods staff, nurses and sonographer. Blood results loaded onto ‘my Frimley health’ within 2 hours. Thank you.

It was my very first admission to the hospital in my life. I was in great pain. The waiting time was long at the A&E but the amount of care I received in the end really worth it. Receptionists were friendly, nurses were caring, I met 3 doctors throughout the stay, they were busy dealing with patients but I did not feel being neglected at all under their care. Special thanks to Dr Gurung and “Teacher” Khine. You both are just too great that I could not not remember your names.
