Fulfilling a long-held ambition to visit, our lunch, a six-course tasting menu, was exquisite. Every mouthful was delicious, the service throughout warm and friendly but oh so efficient. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, the gardens are lovely. Yes it's expensive, but for a luxurious treat experience it is worth every penny.

We went there for lunch only. It is an extraordinary experience culinary, which has truly become an art form. The setting is magical and quaint, sophisticated, elegant and not overdone. Service is impeccable. The gardens from natural beauty to manicured elegance. The menu is a delight for all the senses. It is an absolute Must.

Returning after many years it was lovely to know the standards of service, food and everything are still above everywhere else.
Even down to being greeted in the car park with umbrellas as it was raining.

Lunch tasting menu with accompanying wines was a true gastronomic experience.
Timeless xx

If you love food and excellent service you have to experience these at Le Manoir.

We had the tasting menu lunch here on 21st March, a visit to this fabulous restaurant had been something we have wanted to do for years. It didn't disappoint and the food was fabulous ....what more can I say .... beautifully presented and delicious. Very memorable. Our waitress Chloe was exceptional and made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were lucky to have a sunny day and enjoyed exploring the stunning gardens before lunch. A once only experience due to the price but so glad we finally went.

Ha the most amazing stay at Le Manoir for Mother’s Day. The food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted and we’ve been to a lot of high class restaurants.
The service was faultless. From the front of house that made us feel so welcome to the waiting staff, everyone gave us a warm and friendly greeting.
The room was very impressive and we had the best night sleep.
We will definitely be looking to come again

Haven’t stayed here, review is just for their restaurant.

It’s INCREDIBLE. It’s been awhile since my first visit and even now I can still remember the taste of their dishes. Great combination of flavours. They also did / do a great Japanese white wine which is like water to drink!

We had a wonderful stay here and an amazing meal, one not to be forgotten.
The grounds are lovely but the food really is the winner here.

We had pairing wine menu and the team and sommeliers were very attentive and knowledgeable. We even had a tour of the wine cellar. The lobster ravioli and the stuffed morrel stood out as exceptional dishes. The cheese board I also highly recommend as the choice is small but an excellent selection of 5 cheeses from about 8.

Breakfast was also very good, with a nice variety on the buffet and fresh a la carte items too.

Our room was large and comfortable and we had been upgraded which was lovely. The Lemon Drizzle cake in the room on arrival was also excellent.

Absolutely fabulous and the Sun even came out for us … although the house had umbrellas a plenty ,by the hotel entrance…
The staff food and ambience was amazing….
Seeing if I can have my next birthday there now

I can't even begin to describe how incredible this hotel is. My (now) husband and I had our wedding at Le Manoir two weeks ago, and it was such a magical experience. Their events team is so good at their job (thanks Kezia!), but on a more universal note, the service at Le Manoir is impeccable. The food is divine, the atmosphere is decadent but warm, comfortable, and the staff are so incredibly attentive. My bridal suite room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had a wonderful wedding and a wonderful stay, and I hope we can come to stay again soon. Thank you so much for having us!

Amazing Amazing Amazing 🥰
My husband and I visited Le Manoir to celebrate his Birthday.
We had a great experience ... staff are attentive, polite, and very funny when appropriate.
Our tasting menu experience lasted 4 hours, great!
We felt pleasantly full up with amazing food that was full of flavour, immaginative and perfectly balanced, had a great time and really enjoyed every course.
I was hoping to bump into Mr Blanc 😊 I guess he was hiding or busy, this means we have to visit again ... Oh, but I got his signed book, absolutely love it, thank you.
See you soon.

We had an amazing time dining at Le Manoir Restaurant, the food was delicious and the service was as excellent. We loved the gardens, especially the old orchard, and the sustainable approach to the terroir. Additionally we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Chef Raymond Blanc personally.

Hosted a wedding I recently filmed. Staff were incredible, always with a smile and nothing too much trouble. As a wedding supplier this was much noticed and so welcome, hopefully back to film another wedding there soon!

From the welcome we received when we arrived the day before our wedding to the cheery goodbye when we left as Mr & Mrs was perfect. Everyone was so kind, extremely professional, joined in with our happiness and ensured the whole experience was exceptional. We cannot recommend Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons highly enough as a place to get married and to feel so very special. Thank you

What a lovely place to come in spring: Le Manoir, a 2 Michelin Star country house hotel and restaurant associated with star chef Raymond Blanc.

The whole presentation here is immaculate: from the glorious buildings and exquisite gardens to the menu, food, drinks and exemplary service.

We were here for our company's annual dinner - the last one that my partner and I are organising, and we were so pleased with our choice of Le Manoir. What a delightful experience. We chose the 6+ "Les saveurs du Manoir" tasting menu. There were even options to choose within the menu - we liked that. This and subsequent posts show all the dishes we were served.

An excellent meal accompanied by excellent wines. Perfect to celebrate well over 25 years of our company.

- Amuse bouche: a beetroot meringue, a crispy crab tart and something else I can't remember!

- Terre et Mer: Chawanmushi (Japanese steamed egg custard), Skye langoustine & dashi

- La Morille Farcie: chicken stuffed morel mushroom, white asparagus & Jura wine

- L' agneau: Cumbrian hogget, wild garlic, green asparagus & sheep's yoghurt

- La Noix De Coco: textures of coconut and chocolate

- Le Café Crème: chocolate coffee cup, textures of cappuccino

- Les Petits Fours plus a selection of teas, coffees & petits fours

What a delicious feast!

A wonderful place to spend some time. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff are tremendous, they take such pride in their work and this makes for a memorable occasion. The food and drink are exceptional. This is high end, but worth every penny. I highly recommend.

What a pleasure it is to have lunch here, exceptional food that is a delight to eat. The staff are at pain to ensure you enjoy a relaxing atmosphere whilst still providing attentive service. Beautiful rooms with comfortable furniture to relax on.

My dog and I had the best weekend at Le Manoir. The food and service was flawless. The gardens were beautiful, and our room was clean and comfortable. My dog was given her own basket, blanket and dog bowls. Housekeeping brought her treats as part of the turndown service. As we were leaving, we were told that dogs are guests too!

Went to Le Manoir to celebrate my 60th birthday, as my wife wanted to do something special for me.

Wasn't disappointed as the place really is as wonderful as the reviews say it is:

Highlights:
1) Food - Well it really is amazing. I'm not a great fan of taster menus as I like to chose what I want and get a full plate of that choice. However every dish presentment was sublime, with tastes and textures that are melt in the mouth gorgeous. The quality of the produce was just brilliant and so fresh. The only let down was the black truffle which really didn't taste of anything. Even the nibbles were wonderful, and the breakfast is sooooooo tasty with the most yellow of yellow egg yolks you will ever see.
2) Wine - we went for the standard tasting menu which was very varied and good. The Sommelier was really knowledgeable and friendly. I've had some in the past who are so snotty and up themselves, but he was brilliant.
3) Staff - I trying hard to find a single fault, but I can't. They really are very very good at their jobs. They are polite, willing and very attentive without being over attentive. 10/10 for the staff.
4) Garden tour - Definitely worth doing the garden tour. The chap/gardener was most helpful and the grounds are beautiful....even on a cold January morning.

Downs -
The only real criticism I've have is that the room we stayed in was starting to look tied with paint coming off woodwork and scratches on furniture , floors etc. Also don't get a room above the lounge in the main building as the music goes on till very late in the evening/morning and then some mad man puts it on again at 6:45am.....!!!! So wife had a cushion over her head for most of the night/morning!!!!

So great place to stay and one of the finest meals you will eat anywhere.

Wanted to come here for years and last month, I was taken here as a surprise gift. First of all the service was outstanding and the tasting menu was an exceptional experience. Didn't see the main man himself but the experience is well worth a visit.
