Cinema at Campus West Welwyn Garden City

My favourite place to see a film. Enjoyed a great day out here last weekend. Watched a film in the morning, had a spot of lunch in Humphrey's, then dived into another cinema for a second film. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Excellent facilities and entertainment for all ages.

I enjoyed watching a couple of movies in the 40 seats intimate Screen 1. It's a lovely and cozy cinema.

Very good local cinema with 3 screens and a nice cafe upstairs. The rooms are nice and seats comfortable. The programme is varied and always tries to show recent movies. Good prices for kids, and during the summer possibility to see movies at £5!

Best cinema in town - okay, only cinema in town but much more relaxing experience than multiplex chains and the prices are good.

This is an excellent local cinema showing a variety of relatively recent movies and occasional “live” performances by RoH etc. Staff are friendly and helpful, seats are reasonably comfortable, prices are competitive. There is a small screen which is quite intimate and a large screen which doubles as the main theatre for the venue. There’s a bar serving both alcohol and got drinks and limited snacks.

Absolutely brilliant little venue, 2 screens great for the kids and adults alike, good prices and nice little cafe to get a coffee ...or beer to take into the cinema.

3 screens (one with 100 seats, and 2 with 50, I think), rarely busy & pretty comfortable. Very, very cheap too - especially considering the rip-off prices at the Odeon, Vue and so on. I take my son regularly, and a film, 2 drinks, a few snacks is about £23-25 total. You'll pay a third of that at least for a large Coke elsewhere.

I prefer Campus West Cinema over some of the big name chains: the experience is more homely and spacious. It's almost got a bygone vibe - which is good. Also, it does not smell of old pop-corn.
Plenty of (P&D) parking adjacent and three screens - no.3 is the big one (Go for row H if you want plenty of leg room!). Screen No.1 is a little small and I avoid it for that reason.
Prices (Oct '21): Mon - Thu - Full Price £8.20, Fri - Sun - Full price £9.95. Some concessions available.

Very reasonably priced beverages - cheaper beer than most of my local pubs! Cosy screens and pleasant staff.

There was some diary confusion within our group, we had bought 3 tickets but only 2 of us were able to make it. We only realised this 2 minutes before the film started, but the staff were very kindly willing to refund the third ticket. We are very grateful for this and will be back again soon!

Great place to visit to need up with friends.

The seating was excellent with plenty of leg room. Very good visibility to watch film. Very clean. Staff very helpful. Plenty of seated spacious areas to relax and have a bite to eat and drink outside the cinema entrances. Thoroughly enjoyed the film, good sound effects. First time for me at the cinema. Will definitely go again.

First choice whenever I plan to go to the cinema. Staff are always happy and friendly. Selection of films are always first class.

My first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised! Larger than I had imagined, very easy to book tickets, and the drinks and snacks on offer very inexpensive. Customer experience is obviously key here and it shows. And unlike other chain cinemas, the seats are very comfortable with plenty of leg room at no extra cost. I shall return to this fabulous venue. Can't believe I haven't visited in all the 5 years I've lived in Welwyn Garden City!!

People shouldn't be scared of going to this cinema. It was clean and the seats were very well spaced out. I felt privileged to watch a film in a cinema with so few people. There is a lovely bar/ cafe here too. It has always been a great venue so I'm glad to be back.

Our family went to see Snow White pantomime on Saturday evening. It was brilliant! Great costumes, super choreography and family friendly tongue in cheek jokes! Have been going to the panto here with our family for years, never disappointed! Totally recommend Snow White for a great family evening out. Looking forward to seeing Rotten to the Core next week!! 😁
