The Hedgeford Lodge - JD Wetherspoon

Visited again to celebrate daughter's birthday, its my go to place as they do the best lasagne but 2 of my daughters said the chicken bites are great so i had those, they were amazing, my third daughter is vegetarian and was pleased with the choice of non meat dishes, Hedgeford Lodge is one of the reasons i want to move to Hednesford!

Very good my first time here I was very impressed lots of little rooms leading off from the bar.
Good food good service at the bar a very nice young man.
The place to visit.

Lovely grand looking building and lovely inside, rooms branch off from the bar for a very cozy atmosphere, lots of seating outside too, toilets located upstairs, ladies toilets are lovely, everywhere is very clean, recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Good breakfast and price include unlimited coffee refill. Nice old building, convenient free parking opposite and nice building in good condition. The place fills up very quickly, so seating can be scarce.

Only went here few times in a year as I'm not pub person, alcohol is not my usual thing. But I like SPOON pub . Especially love it here , my photos tell everything

Went in n for breakfast food hot, nice food and fast service.

1st class service and even better food. Definitely will be going again.

Wonderful food, brilliant staff and Hereford lodge is so nice with plenty of parking quite close.

Really nice up market looking Wetherspoons from the approach. And once inside lived up to the first impression. It's one of those interesting places which has many separate rooms. Almost maze like.

Staff here are very good... Pleasant, professional and know what they are doing.

Ordered food and it was out in good time. The drinks were great as was the choice of glass they came in.
We were passing through as such, but this would be a place we would seek out again when we are back in the next couple of weeks.

When we stopped for lunch, it was quite busy, but I determined that this was due to the 17.5% off meals deal that was running that day. Despite it being busy, there was still plenty of tables available. We found a table in a quiet area and selected our meals from an extensive menu which catered for all tastes. We ordered our meals and drinks at the bar and the money of deal was deducted from the bill on payment. We had only been back at our table a short time when our food was delivered to us. Our food was of good quality and was just right for a lunch meal.

Whilst we were eating the couple on the neighbouring table had an issue over £1 which had not been deducted from their bill. The staff dealt with this in a calm professional way, but I did feel sorry for the young waitress who the rude customer demanded that she take the meals away which she had just delivered.

The only very slight negatives I have are 1) There was no tomato sauce and 2) our table had not been wiped down when the previous customers plates had been cleared, but like I said, they were busy.

Overall, I am happy to give 5 stars for a great meal and the friendly and helpful staff.

It's really nice here. There is outdoor seating, so it's a really good place to go for a drink. The only complaint I have is that when we ordered food some of our food was cold. To be fair though we did order 7 plates so I guess you can't really moan. The food is always tasty though!
