Wonderful park for a walk, run or even cycle with family or friends. Plenty of birds to watch, beautiful lakes and a wide variety of trees and bushes (hide and seek anyone?) Kids play area is great and spacious.

We went to the Luminate experience. It was wonderful and helped with the Christmas magic. Well coordinated, good use of ropes to keep you on the right path. The mid point drinks where expensive but not more than you'd expect from that type of environment. Of course nothing stopping you taking your own hot chocolate and marshmallow for roasting.... It was good that there wasn't too many rides and things at the end and they where fairly priced. They gave the children a reward at the end without breaking the bank.

We had our first visit to the park today, we had a lovely afternoon with our 8 month old. Very relaxing, beautiful scenery and fantastically well maintained. We visited the cafe as well, lovely little place to get a snack and a Costa coffee. Parking is very accessible and free for 3hrs all around the perimeter of the park. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to have a visit.

The beautiful of nature. The scene looks great. There lots of aquatic animals in the lake including ducks and other water birds.
The squirrels were friendly and seems domesticated. You can feed them just like the ducks. They were very intelligent and they knew when you were feeding them.
There were also beautiful grasses and garden areas with beautiful flowers. Nice trees were all over the place.
There was a statue of Charles Pelham between the gardens and the lake.
The park is good for relaxation, site seeing, picnic and the likes.
I visit regularly with my family.

Amazing, a really good park in a city centre. Well looked after and lots of space for children and dog walking.
The parking is a bit difficult but that's not the parks fault.
Beautiful bandstand, hope they have bands there occasionally.

West Park is vibrant, beautiful, therapeutic and relaxing. I've been for long walks with family and alone. It's also great when the fairs are on. I've been going to this park for many years and it's one of the best parks around in my opinion. 😍

I love looking at the swans and watching the ducks and cheeky squirrels. The conservatory is very nice to walk around and there is a pleasant tea room/shop area. Decent toilets although unsure why the light is a dark blue in the disabled toilet?

The Park is very well maintained and the trees and flowers are a joy to gaze at.

Would like to see some wardens as I saw someone who wasn't too friendly with his two dogs, shouting and swearing which was scary and unpleasant. Although a one off I would have liked to have seen or been able to contact a warden for help/assistance.

Overall it's a relaxing time out 😎

ps Been trying to no avail adding images of the swans, ducks and scenery but they will not load 🤔

One of the best park in the city. Beautiful and have lot of options for the kids to play. Pond, play area for kids, football play area, walking tracks, toilets etc.. People use it for dog walk also. Many beautiful ducks in the pond makes it even more beautiful. Greenery through out is additional point to add. Even a best place to meet up with friends, family. Clean and tidy area. Kids enjoy feeding the ducks, pigeons, squirrel etc.

This is an absolutely fantastic park. The views are stunning.. Ideal place to go for a jog or walk. I usually go hear for a leisurely walk.. There is a lake with swans and ducks. A bridge where you stand and admire the scenery.. Tennis courts, children play area. Rowing boats are available during summer. There is a bandstand and there is a tea room and public toilets. There are several walkways branching off and are more than wide enough. Lots of seating as well if you just want to sit down and relax. Parking is available for disabled people and normal parking is restricted to to a few hour's but is ample.

A lovely place to take a walk or sit and eat with friends, a good place to walk the dog, take your children or feed the ducks. It is nice to have peaceful green areas like this in built up towns / cities, it is nice to go somewhere to get away from it all. There was a large pond / lake with ducks and swans in, a glass conservatory, several flower beds, a playground for the children and more. We were still there when it was getting dark and we didn't see any gangs drinking or anything like that, so I would safe it is a peaceful safe place to go at any time. Also everywhere was clean and tidy.

I love this park! It's a beautiful victorian park with loads of easy parking around its perimeter. The colours of the trees in the autumn are amazing, and there are loads of squirrels everywhere. There is also a big lake with geese and ducks, and in another part, there is a children's play area. West Park has a nice peaceful feel about it and has a great little cafe in the centre, which is dog friendly.

Very spacious and lots of fun activities for kids

**Tennis courts available for hire***

Nothing more relaxing than peaceful area next to you:

No regrets other than the smokers here and there ruin the area. (The people should not be allowed to smoke inside the park).

People come there to relax and enjoy the breeze from the nature not from poisonous cigarettes.

Thats the only drawback. Hopefully management will take care of that and make strict rules for breaking them.

Easy to get to the location, just off of the Wolverhampton ring road.
Always enjoy this place whenever I'm around, alone, with my family or friends. ☺
Love this park, it is quite big and full of vibrant bits in it.
Good for running around, playing football with the kids or just having a lovely picnic. Plenty of space plenty of beautiful trees and flowers around well maintained park really can tell. I love the spring when everything there is green... 😊 There is free car parking all around the park and a small cafe which serve Costa drinks. A well maintained and well used Victorian Park.
