Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They have a sort of golf buggy to take you up to the house if you want. We did a pumpkin trail round the lovely gardens for our granddaughter. Stopped at the tearoom for pumpkin spice latte and coffee & walnut cake 😋. Staff inside the house answered questions and had interesting facts. So much to see in the rooms, all very interesting to see the artwork and intricate detail everywhere. Granddaughter enjoyed seeing the old fashioned toys and the dress up clothes. Well worth the visit.

Excellent National Trust site with very well crafted and maintained gardens. The Manor is a very interesting building to visit which has its history preserved. There is a coffee shop with cakes and lunch options, a book and arts, crafts and seasonal garden shop. You can also buy produce grown in the site vegetable patch. There is a mini orchard and plenty of seating all over the site for relaxing and having a picnic, a large pond and nature trail with children's play area. You can spot all sorts of nature; including birds of prey (buzzards), flora and fauna.

Great to visit, even on a wet day. The house is lovely, and very special at Christmas! The café serves a range if food and drinks and the shop has some lovely items. There is an art gallery in a converted barn also.

One of our most favourite Arts and Crafts houses. We have been several times. Nice cafe and shop too. If you get the chance to go when it's decorated for Christmas do take it!

Lovely place with so much history! The volunteers are fantastic and help make the house come to life. Of course, I'm a HUGE fan of William Morris design - which is everywhere in this house. I'm glad to see that the facade is undergoing maintenance and repairs. This is why I continue to be a National Trust member even though I'm mostly overseas. Such exquisite details throughout the home!

Such a lovely place to be. Such a shame it was raining. The staff were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I was in a wheelchair and the staff went above and beyond to help me. Thank you all. The tea and cake went down a storm. Even one of the Gardeners offered to take a photo of the whole family who went that day. So thank you to you too. The National Trust had an offer on so we all went for free.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. The Manor is beautiful and very well preserved from outside and inside. Indeed the National Trust really cares about its properties well. I was so shocked right after entering to the building how beautifully presented it is. The whole interior looked like the owners just left. Beautifully well looked after. The volunteers are very friendly and know their house pretty well. The stories they learned are very nicely told to the audience.

Unfortunately during the winters the first floor is closed so there is no chance to see what is upstairs, but I have been told it will be open from March.

Part of the Manor is a separate house in which is the Gallery containing fine art that includes paintings and beautifully preserved tiles.

I must say that I was very pleased with visiting this place and confidently can recommend the visit. Definitively the best time is when is not raining, so you can enjoy the Gardens, as the area is very nice with possibility to have a picnic out there. Next advice is - go on weekday, as weekends are usually too busy.

And that's all from me. I will try to add some photos I have made while visiting. Thank you for reading my review.

Visited the Manor on a frosty Saturday in December. The grounds were particularly impressive with a layer of frost and light mist.
Beautifully maintained Manor house with festive decorations and a well organised cafeteria. A really enjoyable day

Beautiful house inside and out and gorgeous gardens too. The house had so many interesting details to discover. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely make use of them as they will add so much more to your experience. The De Morgan Art Collection was equally fascinating, and again, the volunteers were excellent, and having them explain the paintings to us made the experience much more fun.

The car park was full when we rocked up at midday on a sunny Saturday, but there was free on street parking not far away. Although if you have limited mobility this would have been a mission.

We had a lovely time exploring the house and the art gallery. We learned lots about the pre-Raphaelite painters and were impressed with the collection they have acquired. The guides were very passionate about the house and the artwork and enjoyed sharing their knowledge with us.

An absolute must visit for fans of William Morris and De Morgan. The De Morgan gallery particularly if you are in to ceramics.

Beautiful house and gardens. And the most incredible Arts and Crafts interiors.

Wightwick Manor is steeped in history a place we often visit
As we are members I cannot answer repurchasing tickets as we do not have to wait.
It has good toilet facilities,
Has a restaurant , this is about the only place I know of that sells Gluten Free Bread, I am sorry to say the NT fails in this area and also for people who are diabetic.

They cater for people who can make a choice of what they want to eat
But not for people who have medical problems.

I fully understand they are unable to cater for everyone, if they can cater for vegans and vegetarians surely they could also cater for G/F and Diabetics

large grounds can explore
Plus you can take seasonal fruit and
vegetables and make a donation

A fabulous property & grounds. Lots of rooms to look around & plenty of helpful volunteers with lots to tell. A gem. Currently undergoing vital repairs, don't let that deter you from visiting.

Beautiful building with wonderful staff on hand to answer questions and provide additional information about the house. It was a shame that the upstairs was closed due to renovation but it gives us an excuse to come back! It was very popular and the car park was full so we parked on a nearby road and walked in. We also made use of the handy free lockers at the start of the manor house to ensure our picnic bag didn't accidentally knock anything over. The gardens and lake were lovely to walk around with plenty of benches, although some of the paths would not be suitable for those with mobility issues.

Ver well kept area with a stately Manor. We could.only visut the ground floor because the upper level was unser renovation which was announced at the entrance and on the Web seite. Friendly volunteer staff. The .anow was in great condition with a lot to see. A Shop and a small Restaurant.
The Gardens weren't very big but as well very well kept. In all a very nice experience.
Parking places are limited and the entry is a bit Tricky to find. Don't Trust the satnav, follow the signs.

An absolutely fascinating place with rich and interesting history. The volunteers there were so incredibly knowledgeable. The place is kept pretty much as it was lived in so you can imagine the family living their lives there as you go through each room. A very interesting building and grounds. Highly recommended.

Our visit was amazing. The staff went over and beyond to explain the history as we walked round. My grandsons loved it.
Thankyou.
