Lower Moorend View Caravan Site

Have visited here a few times now and have not been disappointed yet. Great area very peaceful with amazing views. Dan and Natalia are very welcoming. A dog friendly site. Toilet block heated and always clean. Will definitely be coming back. If you are after a peaceful relaxed visit you should definitely give them a call

Just back from a 4 night stay , a great site for Alton towers and scenic walks, superb views over the area from the pitch with large, well spaced (block paved and perfectly level) pitches. Access although tight even with our 8.5m caravan was managed fine, welcoming hosts and a perfectly usable toilet should you need it.

Will return again when visiting the area .

Last minute booking made over the phone with Natalia. Payment made quickly via bank transfer.
Weather forecast was atrocious (100% heavy rain). Arrived and we given a choice of the perfectly level pitches. The weather forecast was correct but managed a dry walk to the quirky Yew Tree Inn Friday evening. Very friendly customers and staff who welcomed our dog with biscuits too.
Saturday was a complete washout but a pie and mash meal at the pub went down well.
Toilets on the site were clean and tidy.
Although we didn't really see the owners over the weekend we saw Natalia as we left. She apologised for not speaking earlier, but we were fine and assured her that we would definitely be revisiting on a nicer weekend. Lovely peaceful place with great views. Highly recommended.

This is my 2nd stay here now, once in the summer and then a couple of weeks ago which were both lovely. The owners are great (Natalia and Dan), showed us our pitch, told us about locations around the area where to eat, drink, walk the dog etc. Had a few chats with them over the days we were here. They have 3 dogs who are lovely and friendly (I want Charlie 😍) Can't even get over the views, it's so pretty here you can see for miles! Very very peaceful and chilled out. Hard standing pitches and both times grassy areas are well maintained (no taking muddy feet into the caravan 👌) toilets on site and warm too which is a bonus! Will definitely be coming back again in a few months and hopefully for a longer stay.

Had a fantastic last minute trip end of November and stayed here - when I say last minute, I had rung them the day before we arrived to book! Immediately I thought Natalia was very friendly and helpful over the phone and I was looking forward to putting a face to the voice!
As I expected, the hosts were really lovely in person too and very accommodating. The area was so peaceful and whenever we did cross paths with them we had a really nice chat!! We had expected snow, but it was a lot more than what we thought thanks to storm Arwin (See pics ❄).
Hosts were more than happy to recommended places near-by and as we'd never been to the area and our signal was spotty due to the weather we were extremely grateful! (Loved the ranches view spot before we headed home guys, thank you!!).

Facilities were as advertised, prices were as expected and we would love to stay there again!

If you want a no hassle, peaceful holiday away from home, this is your place! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was a lovely relaxing site! The scenery surrounding you is beautiful! Found this place last minute and the hosts were more than happy to take us on and set a pitch up for us with electric for a couple of night. Very very friendly people and a very well maintained site. Would highly recommend to any one wanting a relaxing calm getaway. Toilets where clean and warm (even in the snow). Couldn’t have been a more pleasant stay. Thank you so much ! Will definitely be returning. 🖤🚐

A nature lovers heaven! Spectacular scenery, peaceful and a warm friendly welcome. All pitches are level hard standing, with electric hook-up and water point on all pitches. Well maintained site with 2 good pubs nearby, one of them very close and both dog friendly. We will be back as soon as we can.

5 hardstanding pitches for caravans and motorhomes + hireable static. Every pitch with 16a hookup and water. Toilet block.
Stunning views. Can be a bit windy, but it's worth it.

Me and my. Wife and kids stayed here for 3 nights and was really amazing super quite friendly and professional... The kids had a amazing time natt is amazing... Super clean toilets and close to lots off things u need.... Will definitely be back 5 star.... Thanks Ricky and family

Small and quite, close to a unique pub. Views are amazing, has water, electric and a small toilet block. Owns very friendly, will definitely be going back.

We phoned last minute on the August bank holiday weekend and didn’t expect to get a pitch but Dan offered to let us pitch up on some hard standing at the top of the site and run us an extension for power. We had a lovely 2 night stay in this fantastic location enjoying the amazing views over the beautiful countryside. And we even saw some UFO action in the crystal clear night sky. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and let us have a look around the new static that they have on site , it’s fantastic .

Just arrived home from a lovely weekend at the site. Its a great little site, with stunning views. Pitches are excellent with hook up and water on every pitch, there's plenty of room and you can put your awning on the grass next to the pitch. Natalia, the owner is lovely, we had a good chat with her and she even asked our opinion on future plans for the site. There are 2 pubs within walking distance, both serving food and there is the Manifold cycle trail within easy reach too. There are also lots of footpaths. Once we had parked our campervan up, we didn't need to move out again until we left. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here for a long weekend the owners are very friendly, helpful people the site is very clean with large pitches with spectacular views. We will definitely be returning to this site as it’s only a few minutes drive to Alton Towers.

What a find! this has to be the best so far. Generous individual pitches each with lawned area for awning, block paved hardstanding, hook up and water for each pitch. Lots to do in the area Views 360 degrees were breathtaking esp at sunset. Owners are very friendly and easy to chat to. Pub, 5 mins walk, great stay,

Wonderful little site, with beautiful views and the famous Yew Tree inn a short walk away which is also fantastic! Danny and Natalia are fantastic and very welcoming and helpful.
