Best cake in town. Yummm. Quite a bit of car traffic air coz of the location at the craziest intersection in the city. But still great sanctuary with best millefuielle, custard and cheese cake. Keep it up, peops

Its a great cafe, just like a Parisian cafe it is located next to a roundabout.

It’s just that the roundabout happens to be THE biggest possible road junction in Addis Ababa.

Mercifully the cafe is set back from this road and the cafe is excellent! I do not use the word lightly as you can see from my other reviews

I love this place. I’m one of the lucky ones where I would eat their delicious cakes back when it was reasonably priced. It’s not anymore but I still go back. The taste is so consistent my only wish is that they would move to another location. I suggest getting there before 2pm because after that the chance of you finding the cake you want is slim. They don’t have a good understanding of their demand (which is why they’re always running out) and I really wish they did. Their carrot cake is the best in the city. And I’ve been everywhere. 100/10 every single time. The place itself is very small, and their machiattos are nice. I always take it to go but if you do find seats it’s a nice location to people watch. Their Mile feuille is also *chefs kiss* people like their cheesecake, but I believe there are other cafes that make better cheesecake.

I can’t believe it took me so long to check it out but it was worth the try

I love everything about this cafe. The baking is on point, service is efficient and polite. The croissants took me back to France one early morning (when they were fresh) and the cheesecake is amongst the best I have had!

Some delicious cakes, coffee and tea. U will find some good cake choices as long as ur early and they don't run out. Preferably in the morning all kinds of choices can be found. The place is small but anyone can order from outside within their cars and enjoy whatever they are having. The cakes are very good. 😋

The best cake in Addis in my opinion. I've never tasted better Carrot Cake and Millefoglie anywhere else. Their machiato is also very good. Try to get there before 9:00 (local time) to get all their pastry options.

Homemade cakes available mostly on morning, with cream made from natural basics (opposite to "chemic" usually found in most Ethiopian bakeries).
Excellent terrace view on the whole Meskel Square.
La Pâtisserie is a must!

A small, clean, and quick service cafe. I always like to stop by when I visit Addis. The ideal time is very early morning or late evening to grab coffee and watch the center of Addis start the morning or end the evening.

While you are at it, enjoy the great traffic design across the new Hyatt Hotel. Let’s hope it’ll change/improve.

Best place to get coffee with a typical view of Addis street. I love how the house is small and clean with quality. They have the great coffee and cake.
When I went back after three years, this was the place I went to get my first coffee and they didn't disappoint me.
