Sichuan Chinese Restaurant

It was my first time visiting and the food was delicious. I went with my family and we were seated right away (we came a bit earlier that the opening time at 6pm)
🎶 The music was calming and not to loud, it added to the atmosphere.
We ordered dumplings, sweet and sour chicken Mapo Tofu, orange chicken rice and nuddels with vegetable. It didn't take long for the dumplings to come out with an array of sauces, which paired well with the dumplings🥟. The dough was a bit thick for my taste, however they still hit the spot.
The other dishes came quickly after. The Mapo Tofu was the best.😋
It was numbing and had it's own taste. It was my first time trying this dish and I quit enjoin it.
The orange chicken, however wasn't to my liking. It was too bitter and sweet. I do recommend the other dishes, however the Mapo Tofu was the best!!!
The tea we ordered was a bit expensive for how bland it tasted.🍵
From the start there were candels on the table and while I was dinning there was an electrical outage. Which slightly confused me and through the atmosphere off.
🤵🏾‍♀🤵🏾‍♂The servers were very nice and helped us with the menu options, as well as light the candels when the lights went off.
I will 100% eat here again, but maybe during the day.

Had the hot and sour soup, Excellent. Soup had extra vegetables that I liked. Just the right amount of spiciness as well. Then we tried the beef broccoli and sweet and sour chicken. All better than we expected. Will come again.

Sichuan Restaurant moved to this new location. The food is excellent and prepared with care.

The owner decided to open a part of the restaurant, altough one part is still under construction, as customers were calling if he can serve.
The current space is limited, but it is possible to also het the food delivered.

a little bit hidden, on the third floor (elevator at the end of the entrance hall) this chinese restaurant is worth a visit! served by the very friendly chef and owner itself we enjoyed the delicious food (chicken sweet and sour, chicken peanuts, spicy soup and vegetable spring rolls). everything we had was very tasty and l can definitely recommend this restaurant those who loves chinese food!

This has been the best Chinese food I have had in Addis yet. Wonderful flavours and well presented. Kudos to the chef for this. The service deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The two ladies serving my table were polite, gracious, attentive and had a smile on their faces throughout. The chef himself came out to assist with the service and talk to us even though it was not necessary. That extra mile shows that they care and I will definitely go back to this restaurant and recommend it to friends.

Do not be carried away with the work in progress on site since they are in the process of expanding the restaurant and beautifying it. Inside you will find a warm atmosphere good food freshly cooked and served with a smile.

As a Chinese stayed in Addis already 4years, I am shocked when I reached here and heard about the onwer is Ethiopian. It means the food will be cheaper than other Chinese restaurant.

And after I tested the fried noodle cook by the local chef, I can say excellent.

Of course compared with local food, Chinese food always expensive, but in here the price is very reasonable.

I am satisfied.

We returned to this restaurant after some years. We tried the noodles, fish sizzling and chicken dishes. They were all good and fairly priced. My kids loved the chicken wings and sweet sour chicken. I liked their lomen. We also enjoyed the conversation with the owner chef. He is very noble and has such a warm character. We respect that he's managed to run this restaurant for 9 years. I'm a restaurant owner myself so I know how hard it is to keep a restaurant running in this country. Kudo to him. We will definitely go back.

It’s simply one of the best Chinese restaurants in Addis. Chef is so friendly and the food is tasty and healthy as well as it doesn’t cause any stomach issues like the many restaurants in Addis. Highly recommended.

A great place to have a relaxing low budget delicious meal within walking distance from several five star hotels. Try the Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Shrimp Fried Rice. Heavenly.!

Besides the Oriental restaurant at the Hyatt, this is the next best Chinese food in Addis. Although pricey compared to the standard local food, the food is very good. This is my 4th time having take out from them. I ordered the Hot and Sour soup as well as the Chili Chicken. Both are EXCELLENT. The restaurant is very nice as well. They gave me a fried spring roll while I wait. I like waiting b/c I know they are making the food fresh.

A lovely Chinese restaurant in Addis with nice food. But they could do so much better with the location. It’s on the third floor in the mall but at night everything might seems ghostly. Anyway, coming back to the food, you get a lot of authentic dish options. We ordered golden fried veggie dumplings (yummm), Vegetarian Tofu (spiced with black pepper & freshly made) and Steamed Rice. Overall good place if you’re craving for Chinese food. They are also on Deliver Addis. We saw only few staff but didn’t have to wait a lot for our food. We were also served complementary spring rolls.

Undoubtedly the best chinese food in addis! Highly recommend it! I keep going back 😁 the steamed dumplings, sizzling beef, chicken wings and string beans are to die for!
