VIK Gran Hotel Costa del Sol

I want to say, I'm not disappointed but not very much screaming 100%. The rooms and bathroom was clean nothing to special. Had balcony view but not much view to look at. It's a big hotel, not much entertainment at night. And Xmas Dinner was disappointing the turn out was standard. But in all the service was good, everyone worked very hard considering the amount they had to cater for. One thing I will say is the watered down alcohol and drinks was not nice, just because its inclusive doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy a quality of drink or drinks.

It was our first time in La Cala and we had an amazing holiday. The hotel is in the perfect location right next to the beach. The hotel itself was really nice and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. Our room on the 5th floor had amazing views over the bay and was very clean and well kept. The beds were really comfortable room. Maid service was daily too. The buffet style restaurant, whilst a little noisy and busy was incredible both for breakfast and dinner. The menu choices also very plentiful catering for every taste. Just one complaint the hot food became cold quite quickly. Overall a fantastic holiday and we would definitely stay at the hotel again

Me, my wife and our two children are currently on a weeks all inclusive break here and are loving every single minute ❤
The hotel staff are all friendly, polite, and professional.
The rooms are large with a large bathroom (bath and shower) and are also absolutely spotless.
The food at the hotel is absolutely amazing. There is a huge verity at every meal, and it is all cooked to perfection 👌
The pool isn't overly big, but it's ideal to keep an eye on the little ones, and they can stand up in most of it. Plus, the sea is 50m away. If you want to come on holiday and lay in a peaceful pool without kids this isnt the place for you as its very family orientated (which is fantastic for us) the pool bar is open all day and night for drinks and snacks.
The location of the hotel is ideal, it's not in the hustle and bustle of it all but it's only a 10 minute walk to the town along the sea front.
We have only been here for 3 days but are already looking to book for next year.
I would genuinely recommend this place to anyone.

Had a lovely holiday in November 2023, Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were brilliant, very helpful.

Although the decor is in need of a update, the rooms are spotlessly clean, staff where extremely helpful, food was great, and the location even better...would definitely stay here again. Be sure to ask for a poolside sea view upon booking though, as the opposite elevation of the hotel doesn't have the best view from the rooms balcony.

Lovely Hotel. Spotless rooms and very friendly staff. So near beach and Mijhas centre. Great selection of food in buffet. Will definitely go back again.

After booking this little get away and reading the reviews about how poor this hotel was , turned out to be a lovely hotel the staff were amazing. The food had different choices daily and wasn’t as bad as people keep saying, the room was clean with a Seaview,
You didn’t even have to go out the hotel to buy water to drink you were just go to the bar and I would give you a 2L bottles and the staff were very generous on the alcoholic drinks 🫣 will definitely be coming back here next year

Just recently spent the week at the Gran Vik hotel with my family and had a really enjoyable experience. The rooms, the staff, the location was brilliant and I would definitely stay there again in the future.

Great place to stay, walking distance to the town of La Cala with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops also easy walk to the market .

Spent 3 nights at the Hotel. The accommodation was part of our Golfing Holdiay. Ideal location for the La Cala Golf resort. Rooms were clean, presentable and beds comfortable. Balcony with lateral sea view. Breakfast- fantastic choice- Self Service
Staff we encountered were excellent; bright cheerful and happy to help.

Ana was helpful, welcoming and efficient from the moment we checked in.
On the first night, I struggled to get my Iphone to charge. Ana could not have been helpful. She tried various other adaptors, plugs to try and get my mobile to charge. Eventually, she lent me her personal iphone charger to get the job done. Thank you again!
To add to our woes, we had a flat tyre and Ana searched for a local garage where we could get a tyre repair completed next morning.
Having stayed in Hotels all around the world, it is unusual to find a receptionist that is so personable, helpful and welcoming. She is a credit to the hotel.
The hotel didn't appear to busy and would definitely recommend the hotel with its beach side location to any golfers looking for well priced, comfortable place to stay

This is the 7th time we have stayed here at Christmas and everytime we have been it has been brilliant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the rooms are all clean and very spacious. The position of the hotel is a fantastic bonus as it is right on the beach. We will definitely return as this is one of our favourite places to visit.

This is the place to be at! Not only the location is perfect, but the staff is amazing! We had a wedding and choose this as our hotel for the guests. Everyone was impressed by how good the services were. They all went the extra mile to make sure our stay was great.

The staff the restaurant the room super clean and big and the view omg !!! I would definitely come back to this place 🥰🥰🥰 we told them is our wedding anniversary and they looked after us so much! There was a waitress called Maria reed hair girl omg the best waitress i have ever met! We went late the restaurant was closed and she made us sandwiches on the bar place i was so impressed!!! I can't say enough how good they are in this hotel!! Many thanks From us🙏

I would like to say a big thanks to the staff on the pool bar.... The upstairs bar.... And all the staff serving the foood and the wine.... Ive forgot all your names but remember this.... Stopped at Gran Vik for ten nights 11th to 20th May this year ,
Couldn't fault hotel as regards location ,service ,and cleanliness,
Food times can be a bit of a military operation at times which is the norm for bigger hotels ,but always found something nice to eat ,nice terrace bar in grounds ,great staff and will definitely stay again

Fantastic place to stay the staff are very friendly. And I can't remember the blonde ladies name on the front desk, but she was more than helpful. Will be going back.

This hotel met all our requirements, the rooms are clean and tidy with comfortable beds and a/c that works. Food is excellent with so much choice there is something for everyone. Pool is small but adequate, the sea is 50m away. The bars were good and entertainment every night. The staff have been friendly and helpful. The location is ideal with a 5min walk to town or 15min bus to Fuengirola. Would recommend this hotel. We were all inclusive

Lovely hotel great room with perfect view. Staff extremely polite and helpful. An amazing choice of food with always something to eat. First time going all inclusive, won't be the last. Would definitely go back to this hotel. We went out three days and found nothing better.
