La Cala Golf

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the exceptional amenities at La Cala in Malaga. The Spa, Golf, and Padel facilities exceeded expectations, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and recreation. The welcome was truly amazing, and the hospitality displayed throughout my stay was nothing short of impressive. La Cala is undoubtedly a standout destination, offering a superb combination of leisure options and genuine warmth in service. Amazing food and attentive service was top notch. Rooms are so clean, staff helpfully and warm welcome. Highly recommend this establishment for a memorable and indulgent retreat.

Played Campo Asia in August. Course was in immaculate condition although narrow fairways and steep run offs make it for a challenging round requiring high precision tee shots. Will come back to try and play other courses.

My favorite place to spend my free time. Good food and kind service. I love also the spa because it is a very nice to relax. High recommend.

Played America course this week. Astonishing views and challenging holes. Couple of blind (tee) shots. Fairways overall wide and thus forgiving. Course is good condition. Some shots went down for more than 30 meters.
Sirloin steak afterwards was nice.

Finally a golf course where you don’t feel ripped. Great value for money. I paid 35eur for 9holes with a buggy. Decent greens, good fairways. Amazing views. Friendly staff. Obviously you can find better courses, but price/value ratio just makes you feel good.

Played all 3 courses here. Used the driving range and the bar and restaurant.

There is nothing bad about this resort.

Day 1 was Asia. Great course and the easiest of the 3. Buggy was cleaned before we went out as there was some grass and an empty bottle in it. That's service. Course was in great condition. Open and inviting.

Day 2 was Americas. A longer harder course that was a bit more technical. There had been very very heavy rain overnight but this did not spoil the day and course was still immaculate. Got there slightly early and were sent out before a large group so they wouldn't hold us up. Great tee management.

Day 3 was Europe. This is a tough technical course. Very tight in places. A couple of uphill holes that really are a war of attrition. Still very enjoyable. Again sent to the tee early so we could play in a two ball as desired.

The changing rooms are wonderful and offer everything you could want including lockers.

The bar and restaurant is reasonably priced and of a good quality.

Already planning the return trip for next year.

WOW, stunning location and scenery, great courses. friendly staff and a massive breakfast option. If you can manage 2 rounds in a day, good luck. We were averaging 6hrs plus per round, so would be a very long day. Exhausted after 1 round if I'm honest, in 38 degrees.

Great set-up and courses though.

America course was in very good condition. Friendly staff. Fantastic views. Challenging, especially when you are playing it the first time, but if you manage to play it safe here and there can be a very fun course. Definately worth a visit!

Amazing and most beautiful surroundings. I used to live here but needed to move nearer the sea but still ome back to take in the lovely surroundings. Staff are most efficient and helpful. Well worth visiting and taking in the views.

A very enjoyable company conference. A very nice hotel with spacious rooms and powerful hot showers. Air con was needed and performed admirably. Good food and plenty of time by the pool after the golf. Scenic golf courses to keep all entertained. The staff could not be more helpful.

A fabulous spa and golf resort. Mon to Thurs there is a spa and 3 course lunch deal fir 40 Euro’s per person. Excellent food and v large potions!! Panini and crisps was the starter!!
Spa facilities were beautiful and staff were very friendly.

Great golf course (3x18 holes), all three very enjoyable in their own ways. Golf cart absolutely necessary, very hilly course. Resort / hotel is nice, restaurants are ok but not fantastic. The views are absolutely amazing, and it’s a joy to be out early on the course.

A golfresort of absolute worldclass. Played summer ‘early bird’ Americas and Europe. Great holes and perfect maintenance on tees, fairways and greens. Afterwards is the clubhouse a perfect place to enjoy Spanish hospitality. I’ll be back anyhow and play all courses!🏌🏽‍♂🏌🏽‍♂⛳

Played the europa course, great views and course was in good condition. The only little point was the bunkers seemed a bit scruffy but would recommend it. Hire clubs were TM m6.

Fantastic resort, 3 courses. Everyone had their favourite. Hilly, buggy needed unless you can walk steep hills! Unreal views. Played Asia and America. Highly recommended.

I have just played the Asia course and in my opinion it's the best of the three, the greens were quite slow but in good condition as was the rest of the course Asia is quite a short course compared to Europe and America but it has some really interesting holes and is a good course to shoot a low score on.La Cala is a lovely resort but very busy so the courses are always full so sometimes you can feel like you are being pushed a little but apart from that it's excellent and the bar restaurant and terrace are lovely after a round and the service is very quick and professional

I played the 18 hole Asia course at La Cala Hotel and Golf resort and it was amazing. Really good value for money too. Beautifully tended, courteous service and just the most stunning views. Every hole was different and characterful. For a high handicapper like me it was challenging but so rewarding when the shots came together. One of the most difficult holes (stroke index 2, I think) left me nowhere to place my tee-shot, it was that challenging, but that’s also because I was without a driver (my own fault for breaking it). Also, the buggy looked brand new and was spotless. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

Very good for practice on any level. There are 3 courses and are real test for your game. When I played I only hoped that there is no wind. Would recommend buggy but walking is another challenge.

Great different test of golf club house staff amazing food good, greens fast but true my only fail check the gos before heading out it didn’t work and if you needed it to was a pain I pressed the message derive 8 times to change luckily I’d bought a stroke book which helped otherwise in fantastic condition , very good greens a great challenge will play the other courses so big⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic place to visit for golf. We stayed 3 nights and played all 3 great courses. Food is excellent in the restaurant and you are only a 10 minute drive into Mijas costa if you want to go out to eat.
