Hotel Alma Barcelona

Thank to Alma, we had a few wonderful days at Barcelona! The room at Alma was very clean and comfortable. The staff there are very friendly and thoughtful. I remember that for our Christmas Eve dinner, the front desk staff helped us book a seat at a very good restaurant outside in advance. I would like to recommend it to my friends and would stay at Alma hotel when I go to Barcelona next time.

Outstanding. If I could I would rate it more than 5 stars. Loved it!! Service was very friendly and helpful towards our stay at the hotel. Rooms were super clean and tidy and very spacious and luxurious. Modern, neat, nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and well presented and the terrace super pretty, we had an amazing view from our room. We also booked the pool and spa and it was amazing. It has a steam room and a sauna, which were very relaxing. Excellent hotel! Highly recommended.

we had the pleasure of dining at Hotel Alma for lunch and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is refined and warm, making it the ideal place for an escape from the business of the city. The service was excellent, and our server went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we need to elevate our experience. Food was, of course, the main attraction. Every dish we had was prepared skillfully and brimming with flavours. Our brief visit left a positive impression, even though we didn't stay overnight. Worth considering staying overnight too.

Excellent hotel with personal service. We been helped by Ms. LIDIA-very nice young lady. very health food choices. Center location across Louis Vuitton Store. No noice inside the room. Steam and pool are are great BUT VERY VERY SLIPPERY FLOOR!!! Be careful, otherwise you hurt yourself.

This is an outstanding hotel! PERFECT location. More quiet street just right off the Passag high street. Around them corner from La Pedrera, down the street from Casa Botllo. 10 minutes by metro to Sagrada Familia. 15-20 min by metro to El Born etc. If you like walking it is nice 30min strolls everywhere.

Breakfast is AMAZING. One of the best I have had in Europe if not the best.

No other hotels have the garden they have. It is lovely.

Our suite was a navy blue but the way it was designed, it was so tranquil and well-lit. More modern decor with touches of the old world charm in the door frames and flooring. Ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mother for the room and it was a very large arrangement. We were sad we couldn’t take it with us.

The spa downstairs is a great way to end the day. We went down there around 11pm and enjoyed a quick swim, steam room and sauna after a long day. Beds and linens are very comfortable.

My only complaint is the shower (and probably only women will even care, hah). If you just want to wash off and not wash your hair, the shower in our room has a nozzle on the wall about chest-height but you have to hold it to use it. If you just try to angle it to spray on you to be hands free it will hit the wall behind you where your towel and robe are. If showering regular with the above rain shower head is fine. Bathtub is huge. Lotions and amenities lovely.

Totally spoiled. Cannot stay anywhere else because I don’t want to be disappointed after this experience.

Adorable place! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful all the time, especially Maria (Junior). The room was specious and clean. The bar, the restaurant really made our stay so comfortable, delicious and private. We will definitely chick in anytime soon!

Lovely hotel if you’re in need of relaxation. Miriam, the masseuse, is particularly gifted and brightened my day. As did the rest of the attentive and cheerful staff.

This beautiful hotel met and exceeded our expectations. The staff were very helpful and extremely friendly. Our room was spacious and equipped with everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we enjoyed exquisite breakfasts and a tasting menu dinner in the delightful garden restaurant. I can't wait to return. The absolute best hotel in Barcelona. The hotel has large rooms, with new furniture and amazing bedding. Their bathrooms are completely new, and some include big bathtubs. The restaurant has one of the best catalan dining experiences in the city, and has a beautiful garden for spring and summer. The last time I was there, I was unable to take a taxi because of a taxi strike and the reception offered to take me towards my destination. The staff is always trying to make your stay as best as possible, and always on top of things. Highly recommended!!

location - situated in the middle of Barcelona’s shopping district and walking distance within many restaurants to choose from

staff - absolutely friendly, helpful and thoughtful. My hubby had left his jacket in a cab the hotel help ordered for our journey to the train station. We called the hotel immediately and they promptly reached out to the driver to retrieve the jacket and sent it to our hotel in Madrid the next day. The check in staff also had noticed that I had checked in on my birthday and they arranged for a bottle of champagne to be delivered to our room.

cleanliness - housekeeping came by 2-3 times a day and replenished our toiletries and water regularly

breakfast - Hotel breakfast was amazing: a variety of pastries, cheeses and ham to choose from. cereals and fruits too. all food was freshly prepared and you can also choose hot food from the menu (part of the breakfast with no additional charges). The churros are my favourite !

In short, this was one of our best ever hotel experiences. Our only regret is not staying longer. The level of service far surpassed our expectations. From the moment we entered, we were greeted with attentive, thoughtful service and warm smiles. We brought our seven month old daughter, and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating both to us and her. Apart from this, the room and common areas (especially the jardín) were comfortable and pleasant. We stayed in an Executive Suite, which was generously sized, very quiet, and had a great bed. Most major attractions in Barcelona are a reasonable walk or metro ride away. Well worth the price. We will definitely return in the future.

This hotel is really well located in the city of Barcelona. The service was superb. A part from the breakfast zone, there is a bar/ restaurant where you could enjoin a couple of wine or a beer. It is quiet but most of the times you could have music. This zone is accesible to guests and non guests. Try the bread with jam. Amazing taste.

5 star. Impeccable execution on all points in the hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean. Soaking tub and shower. I had a message after sightseeing and it was a great way to enjoy the day before dinner.

I am most impressed by the Hotel Alma Barcelona. Mine was a true experience, of the highest order. The room, spacious with super tall ceilings, flawlessly painted in grayish- tones- of high-end design, a high comfort mattress. The idyllic ambiance, the art, the warm atmosphere of the room, the sumptuous bathrooms, the CLOSET- all a reflection of the perfectionist details of those who enjoy creating best things in life. All these were surmounted by the most lavish service of Alma’s kind, knowledgeable and fun staff, a pure reflection of the management. The dinner was fine, delicate, local. Pinot Noir, suave And the coffee, the green juice, and the orange marmalade topped it all!! I am so grateful.!! I had an amazing time.

First night of 6 here Barcelona, and up to now, this Hotel is absolutely great. Simple modern esthetically pleasing European flair. Great service, attention to detail, super clean and friendly.

UPDATE - This is our last night at the ALMA. Great hotel, excellent service, rooms are very clean, but the real gem is the restaurant. Excellent presentation, fish, meat and don’t forget the deserts. Really a beautiful place to spend a week.

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay in Barcelona from Sergey and Philippe and all of the front desk staff that help you along the way, it is wonderful. I would give it more than 5 stars if i could. Great food, wait staff, room service, and well you name it, don't hesitate, greetings from Toronto, Ontario to everyone at the Hotel.

The rooms are excellently decorated in a clean, modern way with high quality toiletries and plush bedding. The service was also top-notch. Location is fantastic. The prices in the restaurant are a bit high, but everything tasted delicious.

I don’t understand why this hotel has only 4.5 star rating here, because it has best location with great ratio quality/price, good customer service…I was hesitating in choosing it due to the low rating, but glad that I spent my short staying in Alma Hotel. Forgot to mention about the unique key-rooms and elevators access by finger-print!

Excellent service. Fast, smooth and very nice staff. They definitely know what service and proffesionalism is!
The food was delicious. Fine dining for a good price. The atmosphere and surrounding is amazing. Cozy garden with low music and ambient. Romantic, cosy, trendy.
We had our baby nex to the table in a stroller. Worked out perfect.
