This market was full of stalls selling there wares. You can buy almost anything here. From clothing to toys, sewing materials to leather goods and most things you might need.
Then move onto the food section, there is a wide choice of fish, meats, cooked meats, cheeses, you name it, it is probably available here.
You can even get a meal here of just a quick drink. Whatever you want.
Worth a visit to see what is available.

We visited this market over two separate days. This is place for the locals. For tourist, if you want good and more reasonably priced food, then this market is worth a visit. Those touristy markets are pricier.

Loved this market! Good for small culinary souvenirs such as sausages and Saffron. We had some beers & vermouth and some bites from one of the stalls. More aimed at locals, expect to speak Spanish. Friendly and attentive staff, clean bathrooms, close to a bus stop.

As a tourist, this was a wonderful market to explore. Good mix of fresh produce, packed ham and sausages and even clothing which opens a bit later. Do consider grabbing a nice beer from the tap while savouring a pastry or two. Well laid out and architecturally beautiful to just gaze at the ceiling.

Barcelona, a city pulsating with energy, is a treasure trove for food enthusiasts. Nestled within its vibrant streets, Mercat de Sant Antoni stands as a testament to the rich gastronomic heritage of Catalonia. My recent visit to this bustling market was nothing short of a culinary odyssey. I
As I entered the market, the kaleidoscope of colors immediately caught my eye. From fresh produce to artisanal crafts, Mercat de Sant Antoni is a sensory feast. Strolling through the lively aisles, I couldn't help but marvel at the diverse array of fruits, vegetables, and spices on display – a true paradise for any food lover.
One of the highlights of my experience was the seafood section. The briny aroma of the ocean mingled with the sounds of vendors passionately promoting their catches of the day. I indulged in a plate of delectable seafood paella, each bite a symphony of flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean coast.
In conclusion, Mercat de Sant Antoni is a gastronomic haven that immerses visitors in the heart of Catalan culture. Whether you're a food connoisseur, a cultural explorer, or simply someone seeking a vibrant atmosphere, this market is a must-visit. My culinary journey through its aisles was a symphony of flavors and an experience that will linger in my memory long after leaving Barcelona's enchanting streets.

beautiful external architecture, the whole surrounding area is full of little shops and restaurants, easy to walk (barcelona style!) and close transportation means. Inside the amount and diversity of produce, meats, fish was stunning, there were also some clothing stores, but I really didnt go there, I wanted uninterrupted visual and tasting food delight. We had lunch inside the market (best places to eat anywhere in the world are local markets) in a place called CasaBlanca (just spectacular, a bit pricey -$EU100 for 2- but it was absolutely delicious) if you love colors, spices, fruits, meats and a mixture of local culture with good food. This is your place to be

Brilliant market located in the heart of Barcelona! You can purchase all of your organic fruits and vegetables as well as fresh seafood and meat. Everything looks so tasty, as you can see from the pictures. There is so much choice you will easily be able to spend a couple of hours wondering around here. There are also some stalls around the outside of the market selling clothes and other useful items. I noticed that there was a couple of restaurants inside and a bar too. Worth a visit!

A large mix of local produce and excellent authentic food. Can get very busy at times, but the selection and quality of food is worth it. If you are into books, do not miss out on the big Sunday market either. Definitely worth a visit!

The best looking and most comfortable market I have ever seen. They have all sort of items. Pity no halal meat products unless I didn’t open my eyes wide enough. Regardless, this kind of places in Barcelona makes Barcelona the European city for me.

Super interesting, clean and impressive market boasting brilliant local produce. Great lil restaurant in centre, we copied the locals and had amazing sliced jamón with Bruschetta accompanied with superb Spanish beer! Great way to start the day! Also has great coffee and fresh OJ. Bought some lovely silk scarves too for only 9 euros! Staff were so friendly and professional, must visit if in the area!

I love this market. Ever since was a kid. They have groceries, clothing, etc.. and most importantly..you can trade off cards/stickers. We went there to swap LaLiga stickers which was pretty much as I remembered when I was a kid, and heading out we stopped by at the market and bought a purse for my wife, the seller was very kind, the place well illuminated and not too crowded. I love this place.

This is a charming public market that was recently built. It is usually quite busy with shoppers. An outdoor staircase leads to a pavillion with exposed original walls of the city. This community space often hosts dance or other activities.

This is a great location to buy fresh fish, fruit, eggs and nuts every morning!
The market is unbelievably clean and well stocked with vendors. Not a lot of English is spoken here, so make sure you have some basic command of the language if you are a tourist.
