The park features a beautiful lake where we enjoyed rowing. Near to the park is one of the biggest Zoological Park, where we continued our walk.
One of the most beautiful things which I saw was a elderly people were danced.
In the par there a lot of other activities which we enjoyed.
Recommend to came here in the week days, because at weekends is too crowded

Beautiful park with lots to see and do! The fountains were off for the season, but that did not detract from the place itself. Such a wonderful area. Below the building on the field, there was some sort of gameplay that was fun to watch. You can rent rowboats for the pond. Besides pigeons, there were also beautiful green parakeets (?). Great park to spend the day.

Go! Go! Go! This park was like a home away from home. we were visiting from England and the friendliness of the people there was lovely. The fountain itself was my favourite sight of Barcelona. Sadly, missed the fountain show, but I’m sure that is incredible. We even fed some parakeets, but be careful of the people who feed them who will put the seats in your hand and ask for a tip. My dad did warn us of such tricks! 😂 worth the €5 (pictures)

This park was absolutely beautiful! You can take a nice long stroll around the park and take in all the beautiful architecture and nature. There’s even a small lake for you to rent a boat and paddle around for under 10 euros for 30 mins! Great place to have a small picnic and read a good book

Very beautiful park with a lot to see and do. You can rent a segwey to go around or hire boats in the lake. There's a cute corner with many pigeons and parakeets hanging around. Apparently there are people who would put seeds into your hands for the birds to eat from, but they charge a fee for it.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous!
A must see in Barcelona! Beautiful park with so many beautiful spots. You can row a boat, chill on the lawn or walk around between the beautiful landmarks and statues.
It gets busier over the weekends so if you can arrive during the work week that's probably better

A refreshing escape from the city buzz. Its lush greenery, serene lake, and iconic fountain create a tranquil atmosphere. Ideal for a leisurely stroll. While it can get crowded, especially on weekends, the overall ambiance and diverse attractions make it a must-visit urban oasis.

It's a beautiful park with a zoo nearby. It is a must visit if you are in Barcelona. I would also recommend taking some sunflower seeds with you as the parrots living there like them.

I liked it very much! Super beautiful, I took a lot of photos! Quite a lot of people, but that didn't bother us much. Street musicians were playing, the sun was shining and the weather was pleasant. I advise you to come here if you are in Barcelona, at least for beautiful photos :)

Parc de la Ciutadella's main attractions are:

- Parliament of Catalonia nad his gardens
- Barcelona's zoo (require admission ticket)
- A small lake
- The Cascada Fountain (designed by Josep Fontsére and Antoni Gaudí)
- Greenhouses (The Hivernacle)
- The Mammoth Statue

It is one of the most beautiful parks in Barcelona.
The entrace is free, and I highly recommend to pass by the "Cascada Fountain" which is quite beautifull. If it's sunny, you will see people get a small dance near the fountain.
The fountain was constructed between 1875 and 1888 for the Universal Exposition held in Barcelona in 1888.
The design of the Cascada Fountain is inspired by the Trevi Fountain in Rome and features a majestic waterfall surrounded by sculptures and ornate decorations.

In regards, to the mammoth sculpture, it serves as a tribute to the discovery of mammoth bones in the area during excavations in the late 19th century.

Within the parc, you will probably see street artists, singers, acrobats, musicians, and others.
The park offers spaces for sports activities such as football and volleyball.

Lovely walk through the park, couple of people giving you sunflower seeds and encouraging the birds and asking for money. We willingly gave a couple of euros because it was a lovely experience . Great indoor exhibition of beautiful plants in a couple of buildings. Perfect place for a picnic or just sitting and reading a book or watching the world go by.

Beautiful park to wander through, a must see to get in touch with nature. You can walk by the Parliament building and come to an area where there are monk parakeets gathered. You can rent boats and row in a small pond area. Well manicured gardens to stroll through. You can enter/exit by the Arc de Triomf. Must see!

I had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful park, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The park is a hidden gem, with its lush greenery, exotic trees, and even colorful parrots, making it a feast for the eyes and a paradise for nature enthusiasts.

The highlight of my visit was the boat ride on the serene lake within the park. Drifting on the water, surrounded by the natural beauty of the park, was a truly magical experience. It provided a sense of tranquility and a chance to connect with nature that I'll cherish.

If you're looking for a peaceful escape in the midst of a bustling world, this park, with its exotic trees and the enchanting boat ride, is an absolute must-visit. It's a place where you can unwind, enjoy nature, and create lasting memories.

Beautiful place for a walk with some very impressive buildings ! There are lil parakeets (I think) flying around which you can feed too. Lots of people relaxing and having picnics and drinks. Quite quiet. Perfect place to get away from all the business of the city

I found this park by accident while on a run and I was blown away. The park is absolutely beautiful. The fountain in the center is amazing and there are sculptures around as well as a little lake you can rent boats and paddle around on.

This is very beautiful park with clean sandy alleys. Palm trees everywhere and there is a lake full of ducks and geese, which are adorable. The Fontaine is the pearl of this park with its many details and impressive stairs to the top. We went there on Saturday evening and there was a Latin party - people dancing 💃 salsa and bachata. Amazing place.
