Mayersche Bochum

Mayersche is one of the most amazing places in Bochum, not because of books in there. But it's ambiance adds pluses to it.

They offer variety of academic to fiction books, although not a lot of English books available. But there are number of other things, really loved the Manga Corner/Space, they also have tattoo artists for manga characters making.

Then cherry on the topping, they have a full Harry Potter corner. Which is amazing!!!

Can buy books, games, stationery, decorations and number of other items in the house.

Its a big book store. I found some english books as well but unfortunately I haven't purchased any so far so I dont know about the price range. But the collection is so good, so I will visit the shop again.

Great book store. It has the most popular books and classics. There is a nice English section. There is a large children section, which is great if your learning to read German. I love the board games to. Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunately no books on UFOs (UAPs).

For a German bookstore they have a great selection of English books. Always find something! They also carry games and toys, school supplies, a selection of kitchen utensils and they have a restroom at the back.

An excellent selection of books, a section for books written in English and quite a lot of other interesting things too, like toys and collectibles from book series. Has a good atmosphere.

Great book shop with the normal books, reference books and a small English section. Has all the stationery stuff as well. Best book shop in Bochum.

Mayersche is a very big bookstore chain. They have a wide variety of books and the staff is nice and helpful if you have any questions.

A little bit expensive but you can never get bored. You'd like to explore every single corner.
