Dostana Store

They have several varieties of tea and rice. Some fresh green leaves, fresh veggies are always available. Sweet chart have more options and tastes so good as it should be. The owner(I guess) / cashier are very friendly and patiently answer every query. I wish such store existed in Berlin too.

The moment I set my foot inside the shop, I felt like as if I was entering any other ‘parchoon’/‘kirana’ store in Delhi. They offer almost any other brand which you can find in India. They are even known for their samosas and sweets. The location of the store is a bit shady though

Great Place to find Pakistani and Indian grocery.

They sometimes have fresh curry leaves and methi! Good place for sundries, pickles, spices, rice, and fresh samosa. Might have to fight and elbow with others over the okra and green chillis

I found so many Indian items here. I loved the place it is very big store with almost all the Indian item what you need. I bought so much when I visited the place.

Samosas are delicious! Frozen kebab and mithai are the three favorite things I buy from this store. Other than that, you can find a wide variety of desi variety!

The store is very good. All the Indian groceries are available. One can definitely try to visit for buying the spices, rice, ghee, and snacks. Even Indian sweets are available. Very close to hbf station. The locality is not very great though. Ladies may not feel comfortable at night time.
Sunday is closed.

You get everything here. I'm just sad they don't sell packaged dosa batter from the regular brands but maybe they're not shipped to EU?

Nice Indian shop, all imported stuff from India can be found here. Food related things and specifically Haldiram products are also available. It is one of the first Indian shops we visited in Hamburg when we arrived there. Sometimes can be very crowded, but mostly fresh stuff available so worth visiting regularly.

Oh you will get evey Indian thing here. They have a huge huge collection, all the spices and raw materials for cooking. Things required for prayers etc. My experience here was prettty good.

Been looking for some Indian groceries. My search ended with this store. Had all kind of ingredients, spices, lentils and flours that is needed for everyday food. Also the owners ate really friendly and polite and gives you importance even when they are fully occupied.

Best place to go for Indian (and neighboring countries) groceries in Hamburg. Great collection of typical stuff that you may have a nostalgic love for (but don't actually need :D) having grown up in India. This may range from Bhujia to Boroline. Was pleasantly surprised to find ripe Mangoes during my last visit, as well as Amla. You get the point.. If you are missing Indian Bazaars or grocery stores on a random day, just go there and check out for yourself. The staff are often overwhelmed by the number of customers, but still very friendly. The only thing that may bother you is the neighborhood of the store.. Not the best, really..
