Since I was stationed in West Berlin 1985 and travel almost each year for the Christmas Markets time of year December, I have stopped here often for their excellent meals. My favorite of course is the
weiner schnitzel ! The Gluehwein is excellent. The Classic German building is beautiful, Great service !

Everything was fine and the team was very friendly and kind. I wish it could stay open a little longer at night.

We didn't stay here in the hotel we just stopped in to the restaurant. It was fantastic! We had the Pork schnitzel with mushroom sauce and speatzel, with cranberries! Really really good! If you're in Oberammergau you must try this place!

The fried pork knuckle is fantastic!! A half portion is a large serving while a full portion could feed 2-3. Great service, great food.

Delicious food and Excellent service in the restaurant! Can only highly recommend this friendly staff and culinary experience. Perfect Schnitzel and Asparagus. Portions are generous and the price is absolutely on the spot. I will be back! Thank you!

Stayed here did inform hotel of my wife's allergies but took a while for them to understand but we got there in the end an excellent place to stay. We were on the third floor very stuffy l know the weather was warm could do with fans in rooms. A superb breakfast buffet lots to choose from so all in all an excellent place to stay

We ate lunch and dinner here before and during the Passion Play. The staff were extremely efficient and pleasant despite the huge number of people requiring feeding. I am disabled and use a scooter and they looked after me very well.

We came here for lunch! Great patio and friendly service! There's so many dogs that are around here!

We had the mushroom soup with figs and a pretzel! Delightful! I was curious how the cream soup would pair with the fig taste, and this was delicious.

We had the chicken risotto and the salmon salad.
The risotto had a wonderful blend of flavors from mushrooms to olives and sun-dried tomatoes. They also threw in some prosciutto!

The salmon was tender. The salad had carrots, peppers, and mangos hiding at the bottom. Everything was fresh!

We would eat here again!

My husband & I enjoyed our dinner choices. I had salmon with white asparagus and potatoes and it was a very delicious & a big portion for me. While my husband had a classic burger and fries for only $10.50. We will be back to try more on another day!

This is the classical restaurant of Bavarian area. The food and beer are very good and the price is in line with the others restaurants. It is strongly reccomended

The most amazing food. We had a pork dish and the cheese burger. Both were out the gate and on another level. Sehr lecker!

Very nice hotel within feet of the theatre and central for shops in the heart of town. The staff was great despite how people were pouring in for the play. The rooms are very nice, and dog themed.

So many good choices here. The schweineschnitzel is good, but it's not a super-thin piece, more like a pork cutlette. Still fantastic.

The apple strudel is amazing, fresh and with vanilla ice cream it's dangerously good.

Cannot recommend this place enough.

Also has a variety of vegetarian options if that's your fancy.

A restaurant in the center of Oberammergau, with nice cozy rooms. A very interesting menù, cooked really well. We took a coconut chicken and was great, we tasted the schnitzel with fried in crispy hazelnuts, really great. Even the gulash soup was cooked by a great chef. Congratulations we were really happy and the price was also competitive.

Stopped here to eat at evening when all the other places were closed. The staff was nice and friendly and the food was tasty. Would recommend. Didn't stay night, tho.

Dined at the restaurant, it’s white asparagus season, for which they have a menu. I had the salmon and asparagus, absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation!

Only one concern with service last night. I asked for a hot tea to take to my room and was treated rudely by one of the staff.

The meals are incredible. Many bavaryen meals for vegetarians, vegans and the usual staff. The service is friendly and quiet fast.

Nice hotel centrally located in the village of Oberammergau. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food good.
