We ended up buying some snacks while backpacking. This was the place for us to go. Used google translate for the signs and we were set.

Great location, close to buses, metro, and inside a mall. Next to O2 centre as well so you can grab snacks before a hockey game.

Good products and usually has enough cashiers (humans). And enough self checkout machines. It’s a bit of inconvenience that this machine asks you if you want a printed receipt or not, but it’s okay.
They sell affordable perfumes. And affordable sushi ready to be eaten.

This branch is the biggest I came accross. Good grocery dept. I like the boxes with vegetables & ingredients for soups and meals.

Albert is the top supermarket brand in Czech Republic. It belongs to the international Ahold holding, leading in Europe. Any size, like this huge one, or smallest ones, like the one in Vinohradska, Albert shops offer the top quality compatible with a popular offer. Obviously payment possible with all cards. Update. Obviously not depending on Albert,prices remarkably increased. Update. Unfortunately prices highly increased.

I live down the street, I'm from the US and its a reminder of large super stores from home. Has large cosmetics/hygiene, cleaning supplies, household necessities which is great for fixing up my new flat - plus food!

Wide range of products. Prices are like almost everywhere. Ability to get your purchases to your car on parking with a shopping cart.
