Surely one of the best Cathedrals I've ever seen.
Immense, impressive, huge.
The Gothic style that characterizes the building is truly amazing and the interiors are even better. Loved the rose windows and the pinnacles.
Take your time to properly visit the Cathedral in all its entirety because it's really worthwhile.

the cathedral located in the courtyard of the citadel of prague, can only be visited with a ticket, it is included in the basic ticket which includes part of the castle, golden street and the cathedral. it is spectacular in size and details and full of stories about emperors, kings, coronations, saints. it can be seen from any corner of Prague and sits on the hill of the fortress looking over the city. I recommend visiting it both outside and inside.

Absolutely worth the lines and ticket cost to get inside for self guided tour. They had a ticket that got you access to 5 different cites and a map to guide you.

The cathedral had the most breathtaking stained glass I’ve ever seen. You must go inside and see it all. Stunning.

The audio tour devices were sold out for the day so go early if you’d like to do that. You buy tickets just across the square from the front doors.

Despite a lengthy queue outside, our visit to St. Vitus Cathedral was undeniably worthwhile. The Gothic masterpiece within the Prague Castle complex boasts an awe-inspiring interior featuring soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass, and historical treasures like the Czech Crown Jewels. The view from the cathedral's towers adds an extra layer of charm, making it an essential stop for anyone exploring Prague's rich history and cultural heritage. Don't let the queue deter you – the experience inside St. Vitus Cathedral is a true highlight of a visit to the Czech capital.

Well worth the 287 steps to the top. It’s a spiral stone stair case and it’s both up and down - go early if you don’t want to be passing people up and down! The view is STUNNING.

Impressive place with a long and rich history, the cathedral made a lasting impression on me. Worth every cent spent on entrance fees. The grandeur, the stained-glass windows, the chapels, the stories. Lighting a candle, inviting in good energies and peace upon our beloved ones, family and friends rounded up the visit.

If you ever visit Prague and its majestic castle, you definitely have to take the tour of the cathedral as well.

Absolutely Spectacular and Breathtaking!! By far my favorite part of my trip to Prague. The beauty of the architecture, the vibrant colors of the stained glass, I just can't get over it all.

Immense, imposing, emotive, Grand, so much to see. Give yourself at least 60mins to see the Cathedral properly. Mobile phone photos are allowed. Be sure to look up, down, behind and everywhere. This is truly one of the gems of our world.

St. Vitus Cathedral is a majestic masterpiece of Gothic architecture, and the most important church in Prague. It is located within Prague Castle, and contains the tombs of many Czech kings and holy Roman emperors. The cathedral was founded in the 10th century, but the current structure took almost 600 years to complete - I was shocked when I heard that! It has 30 chapels, each with its own style and history. The most remarkable chapel is that of St. Wenceslas, the patron saint of Bohemia, where you can see his tomb and the crown jewels. You can also admire the stunning stained glass windows, the largest organ in the country, and the beautiful vaulted ceilings! If you are feeling adventurous, you can climb up the 287 steps of the main tower, and enjoy a panoramic view of the city. If you’re wanting to visit St. Vitus Cathedral, I would highly recommend doing the hop-on-hop-off bus tour with Martin Tours (their booth is right in the center of Old Town), as they allow about 40 minutes time to stop and walk around the cathedral and the whole Prague Castle area. That way you can check it off the list on a more wide scale tour of the city and not have to go out of your way separately to see it!

Spectacular church, probably one of the 20 best churches I've seen. Most definitely worth the relatively inexpensive ticket for the Prague castle complex. Highly recommend. We were there before 10 so it want very crowded yet.

The queue to get into the Cathedral is huge but don't let that put you off as it moves very quickly. Inside it is fascinating and educational, this was an enjoyable way to spend half an hour or so. At the side of the Cathedral is another entrance where you pay to go to the top of the lookout tower which for me was the best.

This is probably the most beautiful cathedral in Prague. Everything is built with precision and preserved so well that it still looks stunning inside and out. I especially loved the painted glass windows cause they shine wonderfully under sunlight. Definitely recommend to pay a visit.

Stunning and gorgeous both internally and externally. St. Vitus Cathedral is the largest and the most important church in the country, located in the courtyard III of Prague Castle. An excellent example of Gothic architecture. Intricately and elaborately furnished inside. A must see in Prague

Inside the castle grounds, it is a stunning cathedral. It is way higher, richer and more beautiful than I was expecting. Amazing stonework, wooden sculptures, stained glass, it has everything. I found the enormous space behind the main altar chapel particularly impressive, giving visitors an idea of the scale of this temple.

A stunning cathedral in Prague Castle grounds. You can see the cathedral for miles & it's more impressive when you get through the gates and it looks Infront of you.
There's an entrance fee which also gives you access to other areas within the grounds.
Definitely worth visiting

Sant Vitus Cathedral is an incredibly beautiful building located on top of a mountain with a great view of Prague city. There is free access to almost the entire area, but there are some areas you have to pay to see. Here, beautiful architecture, a clean area and a cozy atmosphere. There are good toilet facilities here and the area is handicap friendly. It's all within walking distance of the old town, so public transport isn't necessary, although it's available for cheap. This place is a must visit if you are visiting Prague. 5 stars from us. ☀☀☀☀☀

This is a beautiful cathedral that literally towers above the city. You can walk right up to the front but you'll need a ticket to enter. As of October 2023 you can buy a basic entry ticket for 250 czk. It's totally worth that price! You'll enter and be guided through the Cathedral by a roped off section. Grab a brochure about the stained glass windows from any ticket office before you enter.

There are no words to describe how beautiful and awe-inspiring this Cathedral is. Located in Prague Castle, we took the tram up from the city, and included it in part of our tour. Probably the most breathtaking part of the entire tour.

Gorgeous cathedral that is a striking start to the castle complex tour. Note that there are two ticket booth areas and the one before you pass under the tunnel in front of the cathedral is oftentimes no wait!

It is a fantastic building with spectacular architecture. The stained glass windows and specific decorations are very beautiful. We only had time to visit the church, not the rest of the castle complex, but it was well worth it.
