Great traditional Czech food with generous portions, nice ambiance and great service at very reasonable prices. This is a place where locals gather for great food rather than being a tourist trap like many restaurants in downtown. Highly recommended.

Great place to have a beer and lunch.
We had a really good time, the waiter was real great, taking all the initiative and giving one of the best service I had in Prague.
I liked the food, the portions was just enough and their beer also lived up for all expectations.

By far the best pub/restaurant I've been in Prague. Great beer, food and welcoming staff that speaks English, and the place accept cards.

Found this Gem of a place, while walking along the street. Upon hearing a live playing of 'Can-Can' by Offenbach, it was an irresistible call to turn back down.
Turned out to be a wonderful place for food & drink and of course live classical music.

Looking forward to many more musical nights & good times.

Lovely experience, the waiter spoke English and provided me with some good recommendations. The food was very good and quite cheap. I had the duck with a local beer for a full Czech experience loI I definitely recommend it!

If you can find daily menu (currently 11am to 15pm i think), you will find some great prices and good choice of food. Standard menu is still okay but little higher prices. Good beer, good coffee and drinks. Often in the evening there is live music going on. Pleasant service.

Great food and atmosphere, also bluegrass session but waiters should learn a better English.
Edit: Well done for the waiter! We came back tomorrow and the guy was speaking perfectly English, I taught he is from London. You should definitely visit this place!😄

My friends and I have been travelling to a week-long Summer School in Prague for years now, and U Jendy has been our mainstay for all this time - and it's not only because it's conveniently nearby for us! The food never disappoints and the staff have always been friendly and helpful :) Thanks for another great season, and see you next year!

Best restaurant we’ve been to in Prague with real local tschech food. Very very cheap and high quality at the same time. It was so good we came back the next two days.

Food was great, ambiance was fine. Outside is nice and quiet, mostly locals around. Service was impeccable! Will come again on our next visit to Prague.

I would heartily recommend U Jendy, it has become the go-to place for our yearly visits to Prague. Really good food and the great service by Tomaš and Jenda. Also, check their webpage on the upcoming gigs. One day we dropped by for a beer, only to be blown away by the awesome Czech bluegrass performance.

Lunch menu has limited choice, but thanks to this it's really cheap.
The waiter speaks English well and is really friendly.

Traditional Czech food at its best, served by a professional waitress. Wonderful live music from a local band completed our evening in this cozy place! And all for a more than friendly price!

Very Nice people, tasty comforting food for a reasonable price. As students we were so grateful to have found this restaurant ! Will definitely consider coming back !!
