Restaurant Relief

Favourite restaurant of the visit to Prague. It's very easy to miss, located just to the right of Charles bridge. The restaurant is beneath the church of St Francis of Assisi, the church on your right as you start to cross the bridge. The restaurant looks amazing with lots of church statues in a brightly lit and well decorated 'crypt'. Food is very good and served by very friendly staff.

Some of the best food in Prague. Would definitely recommend the lamb ribs and the traditional Czech food. The atmosphere is very calm here, something that was kinda rare near the Charles Bridge area. Less crowded too

Accidentally found this place but I was very happy and enjoy the foods here. Really nice taste. We got a perfect dinner at underground unique building in Prague. Love it. 👍

Very nice Czech cousine, the place is underground with great lights and ambience, located nearby tourist attractions. The food is seasoned perfectly and it was better than what I first expected, being an excellent surprise. The price was adequate given the location and I would definitely love to go back there whenever traveling to Praha. Awesome!

The best restaurant in our visit to Prague. Given that it's literally at the busy Charles Bridge, it is surprisingly quiet and very reasonably priced - more so than other restaurants, especially in the area. The staff were friendly and meal was nice.

it is a wide culture food restaurant, best located in the historic center of Prague, very close to Karel bridge.
the food is fresh, the place is clean, and the service serious and competent.
the location is however easy to miss over, since the facade is narrow, and the hall lays under an historic church.
i have highly enjoyed dinner at this place, and would heartly recommend it to everyone.

Found Relief Restaurant when on the way to another. Looked good so tried it. Food was great, but I had the pig knee and it was big. Wine reasonable and drinkable. Service very good though msybe a bit surly. Quiet surroundings and all around good evening out.

We discovered this very awesome, quaint, very well decorated and food that was VERY delicious by walking to our hotel the back way. Service there was excellent and will recommend this 5 star restaurant to all our friends going to Prague.

Julian and his crew have definitely done a number on this place. Hanging out in a piece of history, great homely food served fresh and timely, good array of drinks and Julian's jovial personality to go with it. What's not to like?

I had the best grilled pork here. The food was so fresh and delicious I would recommend anyone visiting Prague to try out this place. I liked the concept as well. Restaurant under the church!

Relief is a very trasututrad Czeck cuisine served in the converted remains of a monestary. The restaurant is hidden out of sight by the church, and so it is not nearly as crowded as other restaurants. This place is amazing in decor and food. The atmosphere reinforces the catholic influences while presenting authwntic Czeck food. The service is quick and friendly. With a party of four ordering four dishes and four beers, we had our food in < 10 minutes.

I highly recommend the pork shoulder, the beef goulash, and duck leg 👌 Also try the dark beer--its surprisingly light and refreshing! 🍻

Amazing service, prices, and location. The food was amazing , came out fast, and the wait staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is great and refined while the food and drink was inexpensive. Can't wait to go back

Very good food! Service was lovely and really attentive. The space is also very clean, cozy, trendy and spacious. Perfect lunch for cold day close to the old bridge!

Looks tiny from the road but down two flights of stairs it opens up into a large refined restaurant area. Food was very good and reasonably priced.

Nice welcoming, tasty food (particularly steak), reasonable price as for the city centre and plenty of space. The rooms go down which causes a nice chilly temperature inside.

Beautiful place with friendly service. Great sizes of plates, good quality food and low prices. We recommend :)
