Malostranská pivnice

Went to this restaurant twice while we stayed in Prague celebrating a wedding! Very surprised by the negative reviews! Was well looked after by Michael on both occasions! Shout out to him he worked tirelessly serving, first time was a booking for 24 people and the 2nd approx 60! Food was well presented and everyone was served a decent meal! Some favourites within the party were the BBQ ribs, Steaks, Goulash, Pork with Dumplings! Service wasn't quick but we were happy to enjoy a beer or 2 while we waited and it was a Czech public holiday too so restaurant was busy so maybe try McDonalds if you want fast food! No issues when paying so no complaints!

We were searching for a place to grab something to eat, late at night. Stumbled upon this place and so happy we did! Martin, our waiter, was AMAZING! He took excellent care of us, and gave us a great first impression of Prague!!! The food was delicious as well. I would absolutely recommend dining here, but ask for Martin, you won’t be disappointed!!

A large menu with delicious dishes!

We ordered duck, pork knuckle, baked camembert and pasta with mushrooms. For dessert we had potato cones with poppy seeds and sugar and an old bohemian warm cake.
A package of peanuts was prepared on the table, but they cost extra when you open them.
There is only one toilet for the huge restaurant.
The waiters were in a good mood and made jokes with us!

People had different experience but mine was good. I was using English all the time and got what I ordered. it came fast and was chilled and good. Yes, this place accepts only cash but it is written on the menu with big letters in English. The waiter did not force me to give any tip he just said that it’s 310 czk and service is not included. I was in the garden and enjoyed myself with my family. I cannot give less than 5.

The food is delicious, honestly, the best food I have had in a long time, made me fall in love with Czech cuisine.

On top of that, the service was amazing, they were extremely friendly and attentive, definitely best restaurant to visit while in Prague.

Martin and Lukas are the two perfect ones in giving you tasteful food and especially the flavour iof Malâ Strana spirit. Not only good beer and food: it is a deep diving in the history of Prague.

Good food and friendly stuff. Very nice location, maybe just something like a mash to cover the whole terrace because all the leaves are falling in your food.

Delicious food and not so pricy. I've seen the other reviews and I am surprised that they got that treatment. Our bill was correct, we didn't have to pay for either cutlery or unwanted bread. One thing that could improve is the attention to the guests. But as alot of guests were arriving at the same time it was not surprising that things took longer than expected.

The food is very good and prepared very fast. Also the service is kind and very helpful. We speek only english but had no problem speaking with the staff and they were still very kind to us.

Lovely, festive environment, great food, and especially fantastic service. We got into Prague late after a canceled flight, we were in unfamiliar territory (we don't speak Czech), tired and rather grumpy... thankfully we found this restaurant was open late and had comfortable outdoor seating. The waiter (Martin) was very friendly, prompt, and walked us through all of our questions about menu items. The food was tasty and (along with a couple of large beers) put us in a much better mood. Thank you, Martin, for making our first day in Prague much better!
