A very traditional feeling restaurant in the heart of Prague. We had the (hot) brie and sausages to start which were lovely. The brie came with a lovely pesto dressing and the sausages were in a lightly spiced pepperoni sauce. For main we had beef goulash and beef in creamy sauce. Both were wonderful and packed full of flavour, apart from one piece of beef which was overdone and tough. The bread dumplings were superb. Reasonable service, but be careful as they always asking if you want more beer! And can seem a little rude. Overall great experience. Would highly recommend.

Good location near the major sights and very walkable.

We managed to secure seats easily, though it was a weekday night and we had an early dinner (~1745pm). The seats filled up quickly after so might be good to reserve

The pork knuckle was huge and could be shared between 2 (or even 3) pax. The beef with dumplings was not bad. Star of the show was without a doubt the pork knuckle.

Good price point (especially vs other places that serve similar dishes), friendly wait staff.

My party of diners don’t drink so no alcohol was ordered

I had a great time having lunch in this restaurant. Conveniently located, affordable and delicious menus, excellence service, traditional atmosphere. It was a long queue when we were there but it was worth the wait.

had a great meal there. got a bit of czech favourites like beef with bread pudding and pork with potato pudding. at a very efficient cost too...two meals with 2 drinks and its about €30. excellent deal. was very crowded even on a weekday at 2pm. waiters spoke decent english and menus had english together with other languages.

Nice place and service, staff friendly and we ordered the pork knuckle, just to let you know that it was really delicious.. you must try it!

Great restaurant in Prague!
We had the baked sausages with beer sauce and pepperoni, the goulash "Parliament" with bread dumplings, the Moravian roast pork with spinach and potato dumplings and two beers.

The sausages were packed with so much flavor! The goulash and the pork dishes were both very delicious. I loved the potato dumplings! I definitely recommend trying these dishes.

I don't have any concerns regarding the service and efficiency of the staff. Everything was well done.

You are sure to have a great experience if you visit this restaurant.

Delicious food for an affordable price!
Popular so we had to wait, but it was worth it

When I arrived it wasn’t any table available but I waited just for few minutes and they let me occupy a whole big table after the company left, although I was alone, I didn’t expect to be so lucky , it was nice . The service was great. I had a rabbit and mulled wine , everything was delicious .

We visited a lot of traditional Czech places while in Prague and they were all great, but this place stood out.

We did a walking tour and it was recommended by the guide - happy we came! We were waiting just five minutes for a table just before 1pm.

The Svíčková (beef in cream sauce with cranberry) is the best we had. The beer and the service were impeccable.

Place of amazingly delicious food and really hardworking men
I waited to be seated (3 mins) more than it took to serve me ordered food (1 minute)! It’s crazy😱
Traditional dishes are just perfect, portions are big, waiters are friendly and helpful (I’ve been watching them for some time, none of them literally NEVER stopped for a second, something was always cleaned/served/dishes taken away/guests seated/orders taken and so on😱😱😱). Another good thing: it’s definitely not a tourist trap, prices are very reasonable for what you get.
Can’t say less - just amazing, worth each penny, highly recommend. Dream to come back with friends!

Authentic Czech experience. The food is tasty, the beer is (as always in Prague) fantastic, and the service is great. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the location. I highly recommend!

We tried 2 of the traditional dishes, the pork sausage and the goulash with bread dumplings, alongside 2 beers. The food was delicious and authentic, the service was quick, the waiters were attentive and friendly and they were speaking good English.
The place is very popular and it can be crowded at times, but we were lucky to find a table without waiting for it.

First, the service is very fast! These guys know how to turn some tables and they do it in a manner where you don't feel rushed.

I ordered the baked Brie, a Pilsner and the Svíčková (the most traditional and popular dish)! Let me just tell you... the reviews were not kidding. You could literally lick and eat the plate entirely. It is that freaking good.

The Svíčková (beef in creamy sauce) was perfectly prepared and didn't feel very heavy to me, although, out of the four dumplings I only ate one. The brie came out really warm and just melted on the bread (which was the perfect pairing). Now let me just tell you.. I am not a cranberry girl but this one I surprisingly loved.

Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic vibe that's in old town! You will leave so happy and full!

Recommended by our tour guide, the food was indeed local and very tasty. We didn’t have to wait long outside. Compared to “Lokal”, U Parlamentu has a much better service and better food.
I recommend the Gulash.

Really good, local place.

We took onion soup and pickled brie with pepperoni as a starter. Soup was good, from cheese I expected something more surprising,but it was also good.

Main courses: pork steak with mushroom sauce and traditional beef in creamy sauce. Creamy sauce was kinda sweet and I got whipped cream on it. It was something totally different.

A lot of local people inside and local prices too.

Lovely authentic Czech restaurant. Great service and atmosphere. We had Creamed Beef and dumplings, Moravian Pork and Apple Strudel. Delicious!. Popular with locals and tourists so book in advance. Highly recommended 👌
