We were looking for a restaurant with tasty spare ribs and came across this place. The restaurant is located in a side street and is therefore in a quieter location.
The ribs were juicy and tender and not greasy at all.
Unfortunately, no side dish was included with the main course, you have to order it separately. We ordered mixed salad, cabbage, french fries and bread dumplings as a side dish. The mixture of red and white cabbage was very tasty, the fries were crispy and delicious. The dumplings, which were extremely soft and not dry at all, were particularly impressive.
The service was also very good.
Only the prices are slightly higher, but this is to be expected in a city centre.

Duck was super good! Very flavorful and skin was crispy. Beef goulash was good but wish the portion was larger. Potato soup was good according to my daughter because she finished it all without sharing 😆 Server was very nice and friendly, he can speak some English. Overall good local eat!

My dad and I have been traveling across Europe for a senior trip and our last stop was Prague, Czech Republic. We found this restaurant through google review and this restaurant did not disappoint! We ordered the Old Bohemian Plate for Two and feasted on roasted duck, bread dumplings, cabbage, potato dumpling/cake, etc. The food was delicious, the restaurant was charming, and our waiter Dominick took great care of us! His English was very good & reassuring as we do not speak the local language. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would recommend for anyone visiting Prague.

The 2 of us had a sharing platter - the Old Bohemian - and enjoyed the feast of Prague ham, pork neck, sausage, roasted duck, potato pancakes, dumplings and cabbage. A great way to try a bit of everything local.

There was a short wait since it was peak dinner time, but Dominik communicated with us frequently, keeping us updated on our wait status. His cheer and warm service added to our dining experience, thanks for a great night Dominik!

We had many wonderful meals during our stay in Prague, but this was our favorite. The night was cold and misty, but upon entering we found the service warm and welcoming, the atmosphere cozy, and the food hearty and delicious. We started with a warm camembert top with cranberries that was so creamy. It was served with some moist, rustic bread. For the main course my husband had the pork knuckle. It was an impressive presentation with meat that fell off the bone. My son had goulash which he said was the best he'd had during his 6 months in Prague. I had the duck leg over red cabbage. I don't usually order duck, but if I were at home, I would have picked up the plate and licked it clean--so good! When he brought our food, the waiter offered to take our picture. It was a very thoughtful gesture and provided us with a memento of a very lovely evening.

Went on a Monday night with no reservation but no problems with finding a table. The service was very quick and attentive. The waiter provided useful recommendations. The food came quickly and was delicious. The dessert was the same, enjoyed the Apple strudel and chocolate fondant.

Authentic, hearty Czech restaurant serving up traditional meals. We started with the ham then had goulash and duck. Both delicious and the perfect cure for our hangover 🤣 Definitely recommend!

We came to this restaurant with my youngest and their roommates who are studying in Prague for the semester. It was their recommendation to try the beef goulash and it did not disappoint! The chocolate cake was delicious as well. Our waiter was kind and patient with the larger group and we had a wonderful meal.

The atmosphere of the place is a cool vibe , the beer is good . Surprisingly the potato soup is served in a bread bowl which was pretty cool and the bread was yummy tooo, if I didn’t order the Goulash I would have said it’s the only thing that you need to eat . But the shining star is definitely the Goulash , damn this is one of the best definitely and I spent like 4 continuous days eating Goulash around Prague . This one is so rich in flavor the sauce is on point the beef is so soft , definitely better than the one served in Louvre Cafe .

My impression of atmosphere in this restaurant is "Czech". If tourist wants to enjoy "Czech restaurant" this is very good. Food were nice and served quick so you dont need to wait for long time. This restaurant is always crowded, so if it is full, you need to wait for few minutes.

The food was amazing, we went for the old bohemian plate with ham, duck, pork and sausage, with white and red cabbage and would definitely recommend it! The house red wine was fantastic, for taste and value.

Dominic was a great host, very attentive and friendly.

I really loved the food, the atmosphere (there were just songs of The Beatles) and the familiarity of this place, when I'll be back in Prague I'll come again!

Very good food and very good service! Best pork knee I've had in Prague! A must visit in Prague for authentic Czech cuisine experience. Lots of love from the Netherlands ❤

This restaurant is a hidden gem, few blocks away from the crowd's pathways through the old city.
While 30 m from this spot, tourists were waiting in line and, I would add - in freezing rain and cold, this restaurant was full but not crowded. We have being lucky to find the only empty table, near the entrance and not very confortable, but the quality of food compensate all odds.
Ribs were delicious, but pork sirloin on grill was magnific.
Traditional czech cuisine cooked perfect and served with care. The waiters were friendly and polite and, surprise, they speak English.
Hope next time they will also speak Romanian.

This is a traditional restaurant with a small menu. The restaurant was full so we had to wait outside for a table. The owner looked after us and in less than 10 minutes we had one available. It is definitely worth to wait and we loved the atmosphere. The was great to taste some traditional Czech food.
